I think this is a good mod if you are looking for a more positive engagement of gears,in this area it works very well,also it is worth noting that it is a lot cheaper than other Logitech shifter mods.
The addition of some bands for resistance would make this an excellent.
Logitech's manual gearbox is just that... simple, mundane, if you want a really good experience, I recommend it instead of wasting money on this mod, I bought the thrustmaster t8hs to use with the g29 and be happy
Good review mate! Yeah, I think mods that add resistance and feel in between the gates would work better, or in combination with this.

I think this is a very good mod to it if you want to see your gears eaiser than cluelessly knowing with the rugular cover.
I just received mine. It's definitely a game-changer. It improves the shifter. The only thing I disliked is the noise it makes when you engage the gears. Maybe adding some rubber in between the magnets and the plastic where the metal piece hits, will decrease its noise.

Came to see how the original gear knob was removed so I don't do damage,... the only part not shown, GG. (You forgot to get a new gear knob to go with it.)

Any way to make this mod quieter when changing gears? Got mine in yesterday and it seems extremely loud and the fam don’t like the volume of it

@@ferfigvirgilio let me know if you decide to do that. I’m curious to see if it would make it quieter. Sad that I can only use the mod when none of my fam is home due to the volume it makes

Hey I recently brought the Logitech force shifter and it’s not connecting or showing up in Logitech g hub did this happen to you or do you know anyway to fix this?

Hmmm. I guess you're not able to map the gears in the game either? If that's the case, and it's plugged in, then it's faulty. It should just work when it's connected!

How do you make the irl wheel and virtual wheel link up when turning? Mine seems to turn fully when only turning a little bit.
if you have a g920 or something similar, check your sensitivity in ghub, reset to default if needed.
@@Eto_370 I found out the problem a few weeks ago, but it was mainly because I was on Gran Turismo 7 and the settings were a bit messed up, once I fixed it they finally were linking up. But thanks for the suggestion bro 🙏

It's fine, reverse still works as before.
so what about cars the 6th gear? the way im seeing it theres enough for R through 5th gear, or am i wrong?
R is also 6th. The stick is spring loaded and has a catch. Push down into 6 for R

In terms of sensation and precision, the th8s is much better, before the fanboys come, this is a suggestion.... and a direct constructive criticism of Logitech to make a decent shifter at the height of what consumers need!
I bought mine on may 25th this year. I haven’t gotten shit! I’d stay away from this seller at all cost!
