    Thanks for showing your creative process because I've had the same "cold sweat" moment but been a little afraid to take it apart. But it's totally OK to start over 😊

    I was on the fence about trying to make my own wood flowers but after finding these videos, I’m so ready to try! My only questions is how early is too early to start making the bouquets and what not? My wedding isn’t until Oct 2021.

    What are the two different pieces of greenery called that you used? Love them!

    for a complete beginner, would you recommend following the same order you have in this series: bride bouquet, bridesmaid's, and boutonnieres? It scares me to start with the biggest project first, but maybe it's more forgiving than the very small boutonniere? thanks for these videos! loving it!

      That's a great question! I would probably start with the bridesmaid bouquet first. It's a little bit smaller, less greenery and flowers to place and it is easy to take apart and start over if you want. And if you have a few to make it will be great practice before the bridal bouquet. Boutonnieres are just a whole different beast (in my humble opinion) but I feel starting with them won't help build the making experience that would help create the confidence for when you start the bridal bouquet. And once you have played a bit with the bouquets I feel you will be a bit more equipped to look at your supplies and make beautiful boutonnieres. All of this is just my opinion and at the end of the day whatever you want to try first is the best answer. You got this!

    How long does the glycerin last? Would you recommenced spraying all of the wedding flowers with that?

    How often do you get burns with hot glue? I always think I can avoid it. I am ALWAYS wrong. Lol😂

      Not nearly as much as I probably should lol. I credit my acrylic nails they take most of the "heat" lol

    Can you mix the glycerine into your paint/water mixture when you dye all the flowers? Or should that be something you spray on after?

      I do add glycerine to my paint if I know I want to use it. If I dont and I want to soften them up a bit after dyeing I will spray them down with a water/glycerine mix I have in a spray bottle.

    Would you suggest if the bride bouquet has special flower different from everyone else's that the groom also has the same one?

      @OhYoureLovely  4 роки тому

      you can if you want to but it isnt necessary. I do like to make the grooms boutonniere different as the groomsmen as well as the brides bouquet a bit different from the bridesmaids but that was my preference for this wedding. Whatever makes you happy is the right answer 😍

    How will they attach to vest/jacket? I’ve been trying to decide how I will do mine

      These will be attached with pins. You can also add magnets but if you do that you need to make sure no one wearing a boutonniere has a pace maker.
