If that’s a 9.1 then we’ll never see anyone top Gravediggers, that’ll stay the king forever. Thought for sure this would be a 9.3 or 9.4! The reviews nowadays are miles better than the ones from years ago anyway cause you’re getting better with every video at this rate! Thanks for the reviews
I'd say Galway has the best pints of stout in the world hands down. Have been in multiple bars in Galway, never a bad pint of stout. The epicentre for Guinness. Looking forward to a few days down in the summer!
@@Gexrge_OSRS ok, so Guinness is made in Ireland. I have drunk stout in a lot of places around Ireland. Galway stout is unreal. Of course this is subjective. I hope ypu find your best Guinness place 👍
Great video . Used drink in all them pubs for years u reviewed . Great memories . Some mad nights in them pubs. Great memories . Keep up the good work. Love from Galway . Love ur videos.
Skeff did right to make sure they had the right person pulling it. From experience its very inconsistent, I've had two very different pints in the space of an hour.
Galway man abroad. I'll be home in April for a few weeks, hopefully. And will have a pint in each of these pubs. Over 10 years since i had a good pint. Subscribed.
€5 in Aussie $ is around $8 atm, most places I get a pint of Guinness from are charging $10-12 Aussie or €7.60 so those prices in Gallway seem very reasonable, of course I take into account the cost of shipping it here, nothing will stop me drinking me Guinness, cheers mate
Garavans has a truely exceptional pint and at €4.30 for the middle of shop street it's insane value. The crane a close second and then taffees. But garavans pub has a stout like I have never tasted before. Beautiful and actually aromatic when u get half way down the pint and the nose enters the glass while supping.
Good video and great memories , thanks. Just wondering if you’ve ever tried any pubs in Salthill? I grew up there and that’s where I primarily drank. Not so much in the centre.
New fan here Guru, would be sick if you put out a vid explaining how you taste Guinness and any sort of criteria you look for to tell a bad from good from great pint. Thanks and cheers
West coast, from Donegal to Kerry. The west coast of Ireland does the best creamiest pints in the country. Slower pace of life and the Guinness is looked after and poured with care.
Good video. Including the one's you couldn't get to, you were working off a very good list of the finest pints in my home town. O'Connell's has been my first stop in Galway on the way back from America, Australia and a few other places over the years. Well worth a look when you do come back.
Had any thoughts of Howth or Malahide? Abbey Tavern and Gibneys are two I fondly remember when I was last over there. Tips for UK tourists and 'tourist' locations would be great. SHEFFIELD UK....Excellent channel by the way 👍🍺
I am so happy you did this video Galway has the best pints and shame on the quietness of The Crane it is an amazing spot usually and the pints are so creamy all day long.
Enjoyed your video, Freeneys, Murphy’s, Garavans, Garvey’s, and Hugh’s and O’Connells, will top your top 2 of this video, next time you come to Galway it’ll have to be for 2 days😎👍
Great video again. I was in Dublin at the weekend and it would have been cheaper to stay in Galway and drink those quality pints 🍻🍻 I'm booking a Guinness crawl in Galway after seeing this 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Guru bud you have to get up to Howth at some stage, solid 7 pubs up there. Good craic on the weekends would be worth the trip. Bloody Stream, Harbour Bar, O Connells, Waterside, Top House, Abbey Tavern and The Summit inn all within walking distance, Harbour Bar is number 1 for me but would be good to see what you think. Big fan of the vids keep it up fella.
You should give each pint 2 scores. The first is what you’re doing right now. The second score is the pint score. You divide your first score, which is what you do anyway and is obviously your rating, by the price of the pint. If you rate the pint high and the cost of the pint is low it will obviously give you a higher score than a pint that you maybe rate the same but the price is higher which gives you a lower score. Eg you rate the pint 8 and the cost of the pint is €5 8/5=1.6 You rate a pint 8 again but costs €6.50 gives the lower score of. 8/6.50=1.23. Obviously a very good pint would be let down by a high price. Just a thought.
I always watch these videos. Get in the mood for a creamy pint. Go to my local and 9 times out of 10 end up being disappointed. Got served a glass with M11 on it the other day. Ten year old dirty glass :(
You think you have it bad, here in my town in Manchester you get around 3/4 pint, the rest is the head. No one knows how to pour a pint of Guinness here.
O'Connell's?! My heart aches. I hope it's just undergoing a renovation - fingers tightly crossed! In addition to O'Connell's, this Californian, across two visits to Galway, has also had fine pints in Freeney's and (if recollection serves) The King's Head.
Just visited Ireland for the first time & Galway was FANTASTIC. Tigh Neachtain's was wonderful, & honestly, O'Connell's felt like such a fake spot, I don't know why any locals would love it, other than being young. Hole in the Wall was cool, as was Murphy's & King's Head, although I bet they get some haters from being touristy. Great video brother
A real shame O'connells was closed...had a few in there last year, the pints were a religous experience. Going back next need to give taaffes a go... 9.1 is serious
Great video pal fkn lovely looking pints 👌 I’m heading to Waterford Sunday with friends I be going in for a Guinness in one of ur pub reviews ☝️ glad ur channel is doing well because it’s definitely fkn deserved champ just keep rocking it 😎👍🏻
That second pint looks like it was sent from heaven.
I should really wait till Friday before I watch your videos. Sitting here on a Monday gagging for a jar.

Obviously youse never been to Dublin
Try murty rabbittes next door up the way from pucan, drank guinness in some places in Dublin it's no where near the quality back home in galway.
Am i the only one that thinks he's a bit scared of bumping Gravediggers off the top? That pint in Taaffes looked like an 11 aaaallll day 😂
I think this is the best review video yet! Some serious serious pints. Galway is the best city in Ireland for drinking some crack
Totally agree with this
As I Galwegian, I endorse this message
i think when you rate a pint you should divide that score by the price to find the true pint value
Thats a great idea. He could give it a taste score then a value score.
How much difference is there in a pint really?
That'll teach 'em
@@honeythebully2453 in Ireland for a Guinness … anything from 3.50 to 8.50

Get down to Cork for a beamish v guinness review
Thanx for the videos. I'm going to Galway this weekend and will be sure to check out these pubs! Keep up the good work. Big fan of your work.
An app with the map of Ireland where you can filter by county to find the best spots for Guinness would be 🔥
I'd definitely download that app 😂👍

Guru tackling Murphys and Beamish in Cork well needed 👍
Would love to see some Beamish pints reviewed
