This is beyond beautiful. I would say that this (somehow) relaxed tempis aren't far from the way Claudio Arrau played Liszt (and I honestly loved him). Can't wait for the Dante Sonata.

Thank you so much! Claudio Arrau is definitely one of my idols when it comes to Liszt. In my eyes there is no better recording of the Transcendental Etudes than his.

@@bernhardruchti Thank you for asking. Actually, I am studying Chopin's Ballads 3 and 4, some Walzes, Etudes... currently, there is a focus on Chopin. I tried a bit Erlkönig transcribed by Liszt. It is hard to keep such expected tempo and be relaxed and master the octaves.. something only for professionals, I guess, but fascinating nevertheless. In such a piece, I hardly can I imagine half tempo. ... ) Or what do you think?
