February 28 2024 Maryland USA: Just came across your site and love the featured pattern. How generous to offer the pattern. Love the overview, or position of your camera and instructions. The camera allows the viewer to see the entire project that is being worked on. Very fantastic tuturial and looking forward to many more.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment. It's so nice to receive them. I hope you will be around for more tutorials when I release them. Have a wonderful day :-D
Thank you so much for your support and lovely feedback! If you love sewing up your own storage, you might be interested in a tutorial I released last night for The Currer Pouch. Here's the link 🤩 ua-cam.com/video/hm-rbsh9Kdc/v-deo.html
I'm so happy UA-cam suggested your channel. I love this little storage caddy. I will definitely be making several for my sewing room and some for my daughters bathroom too. Thank you so much for the pattern and very clear tutorial. See you next time ❤
You are so welcome! You are exactly the sort of person I made this pattern for and I'm so happy it found you on the big open space of UA-cam! I hope you will stop by again :-D
Yeah! Great! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for taking time to let me know. Have lots of fun with the pattern and hit notifications if you want to know when to stop by again for something new 😀
Thank you for sharing this lovely tutorial and pattern! I hope to make several of these project bags to organize things in my sewing room… kitchen… bathroom… everywhere… 😃👍💖
Fabulous! Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know. I love getting feedback and I'm pleased you love the pattern. If you haven't already, hit the bell if you want to be notified when I drop more videos 😊
Thank you for the download - I'm pretty sure the file that is supposed to be the letter is actually the same as the pattern file (10 pages). Just an FYI, as doubt it will hamper us being able to make the bags. Unless I somehow downloaded the zip file incorrectly.
This is a well done tutorial. I have done this before but not this size, they are perfect! Can you tell me how big to cut the fabric please? I wont need the pattern. But I will sub and hop over to your blog. ❤ Thank you, you teaching style is outstanding!
Thanks so much, Nancy. Hopefully, you have been over to the website and have grabbed the pattern. Don't worry, I won't be offended if you delete it after you get the information you are after ;-)
Hi! Thanks for letting me know! If you received the confirmation email and clicked the button to download, your pattern will have gone to the default location for downloads on your computer/device. Have a look around to see where yours go. Let me know if you still have a problem. Have a great day! 🤩
Thank you for being so patient. There were so many people downloading that I had reached the limit and had to organise for the restriction to be lifted. Its kind of a lovely problem to have but I'm sorry for the delay it caused 🙃
Great! If that still doesn't work, you can contact me via my website, on my Scandinotions business page on Facebook or in my Febook group Scandinotions Creative Sewing. That way, you can let me have the email address and I will check at my end what is happening. One way or another, we will get you that pattern!!
Congratulations on your new machine! Aren't they wonderful?! I am based in Sweden and Gutermann All Purpose thread is widely available around Europe. Its very strong for construction stitching. For topstitching, I like Gutermann Tera 40. I find their Extra Strong problematic in my bobbin because of the way it winds. Their Tera 40 gives great topstitching definition and isn't so thick that you need to start using the heavy thread pathway, which can be quite daunting, especially at the beginning. What sorts of sewing projects do you usually make? Let me know where you are based, and I can give you more relevant thread suggestions 😊
@@ScandinotionsCreative thanks for your reply, any suggestions on where to get supplies will be greatly received. I haven’t used it yet, still nervous! I live in the Uk 🇬🇧 . I have an embroidery machine and want to combine the two and sew some bags on the sewing machine and see how I progress!
@westbourne7034 so many suggestions for you!! Gutermann is available in the UK, but Aurifil is a brand an awful lot of people are very happy with. Can't get it here in Sweden but funnily enough, I was looking at ordering some in UK for my mum to bring over on one if her trips 😆 The Cottton Patch have the best range of their threads that I have come across so start there. They have all sorts of weights/tex and plys for machine and hand sewing. They people thre should be able to help. Just send them an email. Also, I'd you haven't already, join the Facebook group Janome HD9 users. It's really friendly, and they are always ready to help with tips and support. Have a look on your computer/device wherever the default location is for your downloads. That's where it will be. If you have any problems, please let me know. We will get it sorted for you 👍 😀
Thank you for the free pattern and this tutorial! But I've tried twice now to get the pattern, in two different browsers, no less lol....and I've checked my download file, my documents file, the spam folder of my email, everywhere I can see on my computer, and it's really not anywhere-- what to do?? ;-) I also never got the confirmation email....
Hi, there! If you haven't had the confirmation email, the download won't have happened yet. So, I think the problem is much sooner in the process. Have you got another email address you can try?
@@ScandinotionsCreative So, I tried my husband's email, and still...nothing lol. Tried it in two different browsers again, but didn't receive the confirmation email, nor did the pattern download to his computer. Can I just take a guess on the measurements from the video, since the pattern is free -- maybe it's 12 inch by 8 inch pieces that need to be cut?? 😀
This is really very strange! I've fixed all the other problems for people who weren't able to complete the process. I'd like to get to the bottom of this. If you would like me to help you with it, can you get in touch with me via my website and we'll go from there :-)
@@ScandinotionsCreative Well, well lol -- I opened up my laptop to go to your website and contact you, then it struck me that I hadn't tried getting the pattern on this device. And for some reason, it worked!! I have no idea what the difference is. Maybe there is some type of blocker on our desktop computers?? Either way, I'm so happy to finally have the pattern, and so sorry for troubling you! Thanks again! 😊
Hi there! I'm so sorry about that. I've looked into it and I discovered a reall wonderful problem - too many people have downloaded the pattern hahaha! But I have fixed it all now and if you try again from the beginning, you should get a confirmation email no problem. If you have an issue though, please come back to me and we will get it sorted.
