- Finally, a chance to run my new Arrma Felony. It's a run through the box, the car, and the look of this new beast. Finally, we BASH. A trip to t6he airport and then to two more locations really allows me to get a feel for the car. Come along and join the fun as the Felony is put through its paces. Thanks for watching. AJ

I like my Felony, but after adding a bright, inexpensive light kit, my first order of business was to put a GP5 differential and input gear in the back so i can run any damn tires i feel like, and rotate said tires to get the most use out if them by ensuring they wear evenly.
The Hoons are fun for hooning around, but the rears are a pain in the rear to source, they're more expensive because they aren't massively mass-produced, and even the front Hoons cost too much for what you get.
Because what you get is a set of tires that last 2 battery packs on 6s, which is about 40 minutes of "hoon" time.
I run GRP XM-7 tires, which have more grip than Hoons, better durability (more than 2x the lifespan of Hoons) and cost $56 for a set of 4, compared to $70 for a set of 4 Hoons.
I put up with the Felony because i prefer the body to the Hoonitruck Infraction, but no way i was spending $140 a month on tires just to run it every weekend.
The body is sick, and everyone on the street likes it. Random people ask what it is, and random RC neighbors introduce themselves to me and invite me to run with them. 😮 It's a powerful vehicle, in many ways.
Infraction looks nice, but before i watched a few Infraction "lore" videos, i didn't know Ken Block from New Kids on the Block.

Great video! I just picked one up on sale in black. I like the orange for visibility but the black version reminds me of the Mad Max Interceptor! It needs a light kit...

Silicon tube is most likely for the suspension. If it bottoms out you can put it on the shaft either inside the shock or on the exposed part of shaft.
It needs lights for some nighttime fun.

I bought my car from Amazon drove probably 8 times
then my esc burst into flames while the car was just sitting there from a lite drift run I did. Sending it back for a refund and I bought an infraction because there’s more stl downloads and options for the truck plus I can literally burn the wheels off in only 3 runs. Truly these cars go 60mph unless you wanna add the higher gearing and risk the fire anymore cause my car went into limp mode trying the higher gear
that was fun thank you. I can't seem to find the follow-up video. it's been a couple years since this released. as of last month I finally own one. I would definitely like to see how the gear situation plays out.

Also wondering why they wouldn’t give you the same type of hood options fir the infraction., so the body on felony is more expensive to make so they skimp out on the hand break.. still both look awesome.. great video
If they offered the same options for all their cars no one would buy more cars. Each offering has its charms. 😎👍

I was told you dont have to change the diffs .
That the center diff makes up the difference for same size tires .
I been running grippers an the are same size in diameter and i haven't had any issue . Be honest with the stock wheels the car would kick out in the rear ...with the grippers the car stays straight ..so i think its more a myth then facts .
This will push the front harder but it will work in the short term. Be sure to check the center diff regularly. With no inner bearings it will be harder on it. They are not designed to spin constantly inside. They are more of an equalizer for the torque pressure. Thanks for sharing. 😎👍

Which one would you suggest between Felony Vs Infraction V2
Felony looks so awesome and tempting but has rear tires and different differentials whereas Infraction is same platform all rounder with okish looks.
Please help whether I should go with Felony or infraction
Both are awesome. The question is…which one speaks to you. Tires and gearing are not that big of a deal.

Iv got 5 sets of rear 5 sets of front even tho the car is cool im selling mine and then sell off the tires i have but nobody where i live wants to pay more than 40 bucks for the fronts and rears so ill just kp them lol

It is a preference. An you’d have to install the infraction brake to make it work.
I gotta say, the styling and hood options are awesome, but why are people saying they like the infraction better. They say infractions handling is just more all around fun. And this is from most who have both cars.
So, putting aside all the lack of tires available comments, what car is better... infraction or Felony,
I’ve run both cars extensively and honestly, I can’t feel much difference. Same platform. Different gearing setup. Same performance. It is a matter of what car turns you on the most. You cat go wrong either way. However, the tire layout for the felony leaves few aftermarket options. 😎👍

No. Battery you have to buy separately.

Too many good batteries to choose from. You will want 5000mah and a discharge rating of 50c or better. Look on eBay and you will find plenty to choose from. 😎👍

No rear tires available make it a turd without a toilet...maybe next year they will make more tires.
I say get an Infraction instead of that felony.
I've found them on EBay. They are getting easier to find, but this is normal for new machines. Given time, they should be easier to get hold of. Thanks for the comment.
