This is the hottest RTR RC car I've ever seen. ARRMA absolutely hit the ball out of the park, the stadium and into the drink. Outside and in this thing screams beauty. Really like the addition of the heatsink and fan to the new Spektrum 2050KV motor that is powered by the 150amp Spektrum firma ESC that is equipped with a little cap pack to help it with power management. Hope you guys enjoy this look at what is under the hood of this beast and I can't wait to start ripping it for the first time.

Sharp video Tony... very professional and great first look and run through. It's fantastic that Arrma have listened to peoples complaints about radios etc.. and stepped it up with the new line up of cars.

Agreed Arrma killed it with the Felony and Infraction bodies, they both look so good. I would like the Infraction, just a truck guy at heart.
I hear you there. Depending on the angle I see this car from...there are times I wish I'd gone with the Infraction. I honestly chose this because it would be new content as I already had the Infraction V1 before.

I really like this car. Very cool looking and after watching your test run with your young fella, I can see this is an awesome rig. But I am a little disappointed that the front and back take such a beating when driving it. I think you lost the front piece as well when you were out. I would have thought that those pieces in particular would be a little tougher. To be honest that is about all I can see that is wrong with this rig. It is a great RC. Thanks again Tony.. :)
It took most things like a champ. There were two hard curb hits that didn’t make the video. Real hard. That’s why I lost the splitter. I just don’t know when it fell off

Your camera work is outstanding Bro! What A RC! Thanks for the indepth review. I'm curious why they didn't put the drive shaft through the bearings instead of resting on them?
Thanks about the camera work. It was fun. As for the bearings...It’s probably actually for ease of removal. How would you capture the bearing to hold it in place from side to side, up and down, and back and forth? With that much power, it couldn’t work like the 3s model bearing support. That would be a substantial piece that you’d have to run the driveshaft through and would make removal a lot of work.

The Black one looks meaner for the money we're putting down 🤑👍 it's a Beast.. Will the infraction body fit on this version??
Change the front end, rear diffuser piece, change the rear diff/input gear & tires & it will.... about a $300 conversion (FELONY body is $120) 😕
why does it cost the same as the infraction even though it doesn't have the handbrake
My guess is the extra work for the body and the accessories, with the larger wheels and gearing they run in it.

Liken the orange
Nice, thanks! The Infraction collects a lot of dirt and rubber while driving. Here the body looks a bit more closed up behind the front wheels. Do you think that protects at least a bit against dirt? There are fenders for the Infraction from Scorchedparts, but it looks like they won’t fit here.
I had lots of dirt in here too.
I can't decide on this or the infraction. Im leaning towards infraction cause I like the race truck body and also the hand brake. Although seeing this I'm wondering lol.
I think I'm with you. I had the infraction....so I wanted to try this, but I really do love the stylings of the infraction. It's also easier to switch tires since they are the same size.

not on 4s :) It's hard to control. You probably won't break it...but it'll roll and crash a lot.
Then what is the best car for beginners
The Maxx on 3s is easier to control. I started on a stampede and really enjoyed it. It’s just a lot of money to drop on a first RC. I started my boys on 3s sentons. They are fast, but also very easy to work on. Partly depends on age and skill working on them. Can’t recommend the same to everyone across the board.
@@covermchone99 I'd definitely recommend a 3s arrma, they are fast, cheap, tough and very easy to work on. You can run it on 2s then onto 3s. Its probably the best beginner platform as its affordable, tough and simple to work on. Big rock, granite, typhon or senton all good 3s trucks. Good luck!
Chris Watson yeah dude my first modern RC was last year the Arrma Typhon 3S ! Crashed that sucker the first 10 minutes and crazy glued the hub . Hobby shop did warn me but I was stubborn! 🤣

That probably would've been the Senton 6s they used to have or the Mojave they have now.

When I get my Hoss, I plan to run it with the Maxx. But I plan to sell the Maxx as I don't really enjoy it.

85 mph out the box with the speed gear and 92 mph for the infraction v2 out the box from what I have seen.
