My headlights and dashboard cluster always linked on and off at low RPMs when I raise the engine they stayed steady. What is the cause of this if you would happen to know? Now my dashboard lights are totally out after heating up.
I replaced mine too, but I just bought the connectors and bulbs separately on the internet. Does the dimming function work as expected? I have also been replacing all of the external bulbs on the car with LED (Had to change the flasher circuit as well for that) When I had the cluster apart I re-soldered the connector between the two boards and cleaned the pins on the connectors, I had an issue where the whole dash would turn off and the turn signal and high-beam lights would turn on. That problem has been fixed.
Okay right on, I haven't had any issues with cluster since the bulbs have been changed so far but I've had issues on my 2002 corvette's climate control display, I had to resolder the 8 resistors for the display and it completely fixed the problem. As far as my cluster goes, I've been really lucky with it so far. The dimming functions works great, I just turn the head light knob and it dims!
Nicely done Alex, most people just send there clusters out to get repaired. You should start fixing other vettes for people and make extra coin, couldn't hurt buddy! :P
does in matter which direction you plug the LEDs in? I just did mine and they light up bright but when i hit the turn signal they all go dim on and off as well as when i go headlights bright to dim the dash does the same?

Once I get more confident with working on vettes then I will. I need to develop my soldering skills :D

It sounds to me that the connectors from second to the third board need to be re soldered.
