I hope that the wild weather so far this winter has done no damage to the Heritage Centre. Interesting to watch the money being spent on the railway to Foynes and at the same time on the Adare ByPass. It looks as though the preserved railway movement in the UK has passed its zenith. Thanks for the Christmas Greetings.TC
To the new people if you see someone on Donegal Dad Rail Livestream making bad puns.... that would be me lol Seriously great update and looking forward to the progress of the layout. Also didn't knew that GNRI served County Donegal
Mark, Happy New Year, thankyou for your channel update, and for the overall look at your layout which is really going to be impressive with the different levels etc.
I found the evidence. U broke Gordon. Saw his body underneath the main line. Tsk tsk. Lol. Anyway great video and update. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
How did you go about the planning process? Did you use a computer program to model it? If so which one… If not, what sources did you learn on, or whose ear did you bend?
Hi Alan, I start with what space do I have. Then pen and paper to sketch out what I want. Then I use AnyRail to see if it fits and the track geometry works and fits. It It will all depend on scale/gauge you are using and if you are modelling a particular era. @lemingtonstation9899 has a video on AnyRail ua-cam.com/video/-TsB044ZrZE/v-deo.htmlsi=4-JBB3AOHe0x2z7s Hope this helps.
