I visited the Donegal Railway Museum during a visit to Co Donegal. Its a comprehensive collection of fascinating items and displays about the narrow gauge railways which served the area in the past. Well worth a visit.

How much higher do you think I should go as to going higher than seven inches so if I need to reach the back of the table I shouldn't have to almost crawl to get a car out or worse change a damaged piece of track? Mark, On 9:12 did you just bent half the nail into the wood so it could hold down the track? You would have to look very carefully right after you ran the ruler on the track and you were about to strike the nail with the bolt. I could be wrong and so I went back several times and sure enough you did. I'm just wondering why you did that? Thank you for your time Sincerely Allan

Hi Mark, Why don't you use sound board to make the train even quieter? I would say after watching over a thousand videos on How-to build a layout I would say about 95% have used some kind of deadening item to make the layout quieter. Thank you for your time Sincerely Allan

Hi Mark, When you're countersinking a hole in the wood , would it be a good idea to counersink the wood underneath and match-up the two holes to drive in the nails without splitting the bottom part of the wood? Let me know what you think. Thank you for your time Sincerely Allan

Hi Mark, I don't know how it looks in your area but as far as I can remember all curb stones at the end of the platform to keep people from standing to close to the end of the platform. In my aera the edge of the platform is painted in yellow for safety reasons. Thank you for your time Sincerely Allan

I am so glad I've been watching your videos because it seems to me that so far I'm learning more from your How-to segments of your videos than anybody else and Mark THAT'S THE TRUTH I'm not sugar coating it. I meant what I said. I have a question about the metal fence. Have you thought about using aluminum tubing to make the fence? Hello Sir, I Love this technique I've never seen this before in any other How-to Videos in any scale. Thank you I'm very lousy with math and I no absolutely nothing at all about the metric system so could you at least tell me how I can do this for my layout which is done in O-Gauge? Have you ever built a chain link fence? If so do you have a video of the project? What is the best option of thread I can use to make the fence? I'm loving your videos it's very informative.
