  • Tyler Barron grew up living and hunting in Texas, but a few years ago he decided to venture out-of-state in search of a midwest whitetail. He's been able to travel and lodge in a multitude of ways, and after visiting a few different states and finding great success the last couple of seasons, here are his top "must-know" tips for hunting in a different state.

    Gas prices have killed our usual offshore fishing this year. Certainly won’t be hunting far from home either!

    A really nice list of what to think 🤔 about when branching outside the home range. Heck even going to a different part of your home state can be productive and fun, let alone going out of state.
    Since I once again couldn’t go out west I am instead going to get my license in my neighbor state of PA as their license year is July to July and I will be able to go after turkey 🦃 in the spring too. 🏹🦌
