A really nice area to spend time with family and friends and enjoy the beauty and peace on the beach, we really have beautiful areas to visit it's just the up keep of the places. I fell asleep and missed the chat but woke up in time to see your video. I always enjoy your road trips because I can see new places in Trinidad and enjoy them along with you. And you are right about people traveling abroad for vacation. You work so hard for your money, why not spend it at home and build up the local economy. I see it here in Canada where people run down to the States and Florida and spend their hard earned money to help the American economy. SMH. Like you said " we live where people come for vacation". Trinidad is a beautiful island country. I wish they would clean up the beach though. It's a real shame that people still litter the beach like that. Interesting video, and I am so appreciative of the sites you and all other UA-camrs take the viewers on. Trinidad is definitely a nice country, and Trinis in the US reflects the friendly culture. As someone who travels the world, from Switzerland to Tokyo, Maui, to Australia, to India, Germany it amazes me Trinidadians who haven't traveled to another country would make claims saying it's world class. It is a nice country, but really, the citizens do not keep it clean it's filthy, and some of the food preps are quite unsanitary, to say the least. Currently, based on stats from the Caribbean, Trinidad is, unfortunately, ranks high on crime per capita compared to other islands. I've never visited but would like to take my family. Also, Videsh Disney World is an experience that can not be compared to anything. It's a magical experience every child should experience. As a Floridian, it's my backyard, so we go very often. Spread your wings and travel, appreciate other countries and cultures, and embrace the uniqueness and beauty the world has to offer. Trinidad is nice, but come on, let's be realistic.
It hurts me to see the rubbish. If you guys took a bag full each on every trip like this and disposed of it properly.... you could be even bigger heroes than you are already are :)
