Years ago my grandmother did this with old car tires and right before harvest she would light the car tires on fire and let it burn for 3 weeks and then throw buckets of water on the tire fire and then dig up the potatoes and they were fully baked potatoes, She didn't even wash the dirt off, she would eat the baked potatoes right out of the dirt, like eating an apple from a tree.

@@RichGardens When I was a kid, I always wanted to be a dinosaur. I wanted to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex more than anything in the world. I made my arms short and I roamed the backyard, I chased the neighborhood cats, I growled and I roared. Everybody knew me and was afraid of me. And one day my dad said, 'Bobby, you are 17. It's time to throw childish things aside,' and I said, 'Okay, Pop.' But he didn't really say that, he said, 'Stop being a damn dinosaur and get a job.

Thank you for your feedback. In mid November we will be harvesting our Red La Soda potatoes in containers. I'll leave that video at normal speed. We took an hour to harvest and thought it would be too long. My mistake. I'll see if its possible to release the long version of this video.

I don't know if it was sped up too much, but, she was grabbing them so fast that as an audience member, WE COULDN'T SEE ANY OF THE POTATOES??? I thought the point was to share the harvest with the audience???

Thank you for the feedback. The raw footage was over 45 minutes long. I was concerned about the length of the video. The first container was at 2x speed. The other bags were at 4x speed. I will keep your feedback in mind for future videos.
