I don’t want to depress you folks, but I am 70 years old and you’re playing some of my all-time favorite hits. I am a jazz guitar player whose biggest influence for 20 years was Becker and Fagan… Steely Dan. I have two great grandchildren and a granddaughter who is older than all of you. You are truly an inspiration to a guy who’s lost a lot of faith in the younger generations. Don’t count your elders out… I still play my Tele's and Jazzmaster 3 to 4 hours a day. Check out “Aja” (Asia), by Steely Dan and both of Donald Fagan‘s solo albums… “Nightfly” and, “Kamikeriad” (If you’re not sophisticated enough for these albums yet, you soon will be.) I would love to see you guys do a cover of “Rosalinda‘s Eyes“ by Billy Joel. Bless you all and keep up the incredible work. 🙏✝️🎸
Thanks, we appreciate this advice! I’ve enjoyed those albums but my favorite of Fagens is def Nightly - Colman
Nothing depressing about that at all friend. These guys are doing the same thing to me.
As a third-generation grateful dead fan, there is nothing depressing about this. My grandad grew up with the grateful dead and is still a part of a band to this day. so, this kind of news if nothing new to me, because it's great music either way.
A beautiful history - and how great you are taking the time to reach out to their great young band!
We had the greatest music of all time….
New Big Fan! 😁 I’m 65 and getting younger every minute. I needed this today! Thanks 😊
Wow great cover! When this song came out in 1985 I was 17, running away from home and driving across the country to California to start a new life. This song played non-stop on the radio stations across the entire country, and it became my anthem. 'Welcome to your life, there's no turning back...Help me make the most of Freedom, and of pleasure' It's been an amazing journey, I'm still here in California! So great to see teenagers enjoying and appreciating this incredible song the way I did at this stage of life. Life is not a race, it's an adventure
@maha77 Glad you made it to a better life in California! Very brave at 17! Love that this Tears for Fears song became your personal anthem and love how music; a particular song can transport one back to a place, time and feeling we might otherwise have forgotten about.
When this came out in ‘85, I was 36. Guess how old I am now. Oh, by the way, his is my favorite TFF tune. Thanks for doing such a great job with it!
Interesting. I came to the US from Europe in 1990 and on the flight over I listened to "Sowing The Seeds of Love" by TfF maybe 15 times. Met my wife here, my children were born here... and 34 years later, I still live here. "Sowing The Seeds of Love" is my anthem for my "new" American life.
10/10
You guys are awesome! What an amazing cover!
You guys have great song selection.
Thanks Adam - we have a repertoire of ~60 songs now, doing 1 a week.

The drummer has one of THE best grooves EVER!!!!!!
Agreed that kid can play anything perfectly!
You kids are really making this old man happy.
Thanks so much.
The best part of your vids... you're having fun. I love it.
2:26 that's the jam. Piano kickin it too.
Nailed it, that was fantastic start to finish. Nailed the playing, reverb, just had an 80s vibe. Fcking nice.
Thanks! If you like the 80s, check out our new version of TOTO's Rosanna!
Nice cover. Love listening to the young generation keeping great music alive!

You lads are a revelation. The girl aswell of course.😊😊😊
I say my rosary every night via UA-cam and then watch a Low Dart video. Hmmmm. 😄 Love these young cats! 🎵
Yaaay
You guys are super talented. As a teen in the 80s you’ve brought back a lot of memories! You make me want to get into that Delorean with Doc Brown and go back and learn an instrument!
Thanks so much Steve! It’s never too late to learn an instrument! Just the right approach, patience, and a lot of time - and it’s really rewarding
Drummer has L.A shuffle down

Tremendous again! And you guys keep doing songs that I am considering recording....I played that song live in a touring band in the late 80s and it is very difficult...I think yall did it better!! Wow, congrats again Low Darts....superb mix as well! Sky's the limit.....Rock on!
Thanks so much Michael - a high compliment. We'll keep on going!
real cool people covered this one ;)
I think that what makes your music great is the chemistry between you guys.Always look like everyone's having fun, which is reflected in the fresh sound .Could just do w/ a touch more bass/low end/depth in the mix.keep up the good work..
Thanks Patrice! Good to note... you can subscribe for more if you’d like

Absolutely amazing!!
Thanks Mairéad!
Vous êtes le truc le plus cool qui est pu arriver à UA-cam 🤣🔥😘
Nice one lads. Great drumming and yes you have definitely captured the feel of the song. One thing though - I wish the red 7 string guitar was a bit higher in the mix!
Hey fellow Nutmeggers! You guys are awesome! But, I gotta say Colman on lead vocals is particularly outstanding!
Thank you! Love these kiddos. Colman is my son and will be 16 on the 16th. Crazy!! Check out Zanzibar that they just put out. So good...
Thank you Geoff! I wouldn't have anything to sing over if it weren't for the tight rhythm section of Sean & Luke, though! - Colman
Wow!!! This was amazing!! You guys absolutely rocked it! Loved the combination of instruments here! And loved the zebra costume lol. Great job guys. Looking forward to more :):)
Thanks - the costumes were a last minute thing lol - you can sub if you'd like to see more every week!
So awesome! Sean even gets in on some vox here. Great job, guys! (I promise I'm not a creepy old man. Just a fellow musician who appreciates other musicians.) ha ha.
Thanks Brad - no problem we love the support!
Nice job guyz...One of my first bands we played this song. I was on keys and lead vocalist. The crowd loved it. Good times!!
Whoa!
Glad you like it Isaac - you can subscribe for more every week!
This is a really great cover, keep it up :)
Thanks Macaire - we will!
I've watched loads of your videos here in the UK and I'm loving them. Musically, you guys are as tight as a ducks ass. Fabulous stuff. 👍🦆🦆👍
Great Job
Thanks Geoff! You can subscribe for more every week if you'd like!
Dope
Thanks Harrison!
you guys have great taste in covers. how about some doobie brothers? check out 'minute by minute' album. they have some great tracks there with michael mcdonald.
We love Doobie Brothers! In our live shows, we've played "Minute by Minute" and China Grove!
Sweet. Love the jam at the end -- can't remember if that's the actual solo but it sounded great either way. I thought you might bring in a gen-u-ine Gordon Smith six string for that last part, making it more like the record. But this was really nice.
Improv’ed by Jonas! Since, he’s moved on to a Jazzmaster and Strat
Awesome tune, just wish the guitar solo was a tad louder, nailed it!!
Thanks Andrew - will keep that in mind when I’m mixing
AWESOMENESS....................#52 11 3 53.........
Thanks webnet - cool channel!
Don't think so Billy!
I wanna rule Coleman’s world
😂😂😂
It's Colman without an e so start there haha
Facts Tristan
Is there something different about this song, rhythmically? It appears on the surface to be 4/4 time with the bass and drums, but it seems like something is syncopated so that its actually more complex than simple “four time”…..(?)(That high-hat)…
Shuffle
Hmmm, something about that high hat…Shuffle? Okay, let me meditate on this…🙏🏼
@@LowDarts I’m used to 4/4 sounding more like this (“straight time…”)

@@LowDarts Yep, shuffle, I’m hearing it now. Rick Beato verified:

5 Thumbs down? Really?
Who let Colman drink?
Lol
HELL YES! TODD NEXT?
Not directly next, but it's coming - we're trying to find the right song
Take your time. Very complicated arrangements. Hope Your all well!
Perfect! Great vocals. Now PLEASE stop looking at the camera. Look around the room or something. No more hamming it up for the camera! PLEASE! Videos will suddenly look way more professional. Great work guys.
Thanks, Rich! Yes, this was almost 4 years ago and I was 15 here
Guitar player totally let you down, I hope his string was hooked on a fret. Seemed like he had never heard the song before. Otherwise as I have already commented. You Get it, good music is always in style!
The bass player is terrible at fake playing.
What do you mean? This is all live, and exactly what you hear on the track. Check out our behind the scenes if you want to hear the isolated track.
Bullocks Bulloch!!
@@TheConnollyChannel so long sucker.
@@LowDartsbulloch is just jealous ignore him - you guys have amazing talent across the board and your production is outstanding ✊🏼 (I know this is like 2 years too late, but have a look at a British band called ‘Squeeze’ and a couple of their songs ‘Up the Junction’ and ‘Cool for Cat’s’ I think you’ll do a great cover)
