Time to invest in some LED strip lights for the interior of your cabin. For filming, and working. They're relatively cheap and draw very little juice from the jackery. Thanks Ryan, I appreciate the alternate universe you allow me to submerge myself into on Saturday morning.
Da Worm evolves.. lol. Like how it turned out. Many times I've thought I should learn canvas work/sewing. You're proof its nice to have many skill sets.
Really looks great and I want to thank you for sharing your sewing skills. I just got a singer industrial 16-188 walking foot machine and an Singer 29K71 patcher. Been hand saddle stitching for the past 30 years. I enjoy your videos every Saturday Morning. Enjoy your piece of heaven in our great outdoors, and enjoy the simple pleasures as a heated shower and a small trappers cabin! Thanks! Be safe in your daily chores!
Sir Ryan of Ringworm, the phrase; a jack of all trades and master of none, but often times better than a master of one , I believe , best describes you! Congrats on living the dream and being the” best Hermit, off grid, Picasso “, on the entire UA-cam platform! My best regards.✌️✊
I'm not sure if you've ever heard of one or not but myself I use what they call a diesel parking heater that runs on 12 volt , they're fantastic. The one I have is an 8 KW, which is approximately 28,000 BTU which will easily Heat my 695 square foot cabin with no issues, all while using only about anywhere from one half to three quarters of a gallon of diesel in 24 plus hours. I got mine off Amazon from a vendor called Happy buy for 180 bucks at the door. I'm on my 5th year now with this particular one and the only thing I've ever had to do to it is to clean the glow plug otherwise it's been extremely reliable. By the way they do vent outside with about a 1 inch exhaust pipe with a muffler on . They're not really noisy either , about the only thing you really hear is the fan and the clicking sound from the pulse type fuel pump, neither are very loud. I've had similar gas heaters to the one that you have and those things suck up fuel like it's going out of style so in my honest opinion those little diesel parking heaters are 10 times more efficient than a propane heater ever was. I highly recommend them and since I've had mine my propane wall heater has been in storage ever since.
RYAN HEAVENLY ZIPPERS those are big ones Love that video!!! And you and your Buddy that is how it is to be funning with each other !!! That is what us ladies do with each other talking back and forth like that also !!! Love to sew and quilt !!!
Watching you work in the new cabin and use the Jackery, I think before you close the walls up I suggest you put in a port that will allow you to charge the portable inside from the generator running outside. I am not suggesting that you wire the whole place, just a port for charging.
I really like the little house with the canvas walls. But the sewing machine is awesome. Simple and robust in contrast to my wife's sewing machine with umpteen programs and embroidery patterns.
I'm a seamstress. Made everything from a full size teepee to upholstery for cars and furniture, Civil War garments and wedding attire. I have a little Thompson for heavy work and an old '53 metal Singer for most everything else. How about using a wallpaper roller for pressing those seams under? It would even give more pressure on that seam your pressing by hand. Love everything you are doing. Keep on keeping on.
I follow a couple of channels, but yours is the only one I check all day Friday, then as soon as I awaken Saturday check again. Very entertaining and informative. Can't wait to see your next project.
I must say that you are quite the Tailor for sure. Hidden zippers can be tricky but they are beautiful when you know how to hide them properly. Gorgeous job and to perfection I must say. Through the years starting in Junior High School I started taking sewing classes and tailoring in my senior year. About twenty years ago I started taking quilting classes and still quilt today. There's a lot of joy and peace in making things but you Created a whole front section to your shower room and it is to me perfection. At first I honestly thought "Oh this ought to be good" lol. But I was totally impressed. KUDO'S to you. God is Blessing you for sure with multiple talents. Not laughing now. Thank you for a wonderful video!!!
Thats the 2nd time this week that ive heard a favorite quote from one of my favorite authors... Bonus points for quoting the entire thing. Too weird to live, too rare to die.
Outstanding upgrade Ryan....you have a special trait to go from chainsaw milling to delicate canvas work. What a thrill to watch each week to see what you come up with next.....keep it going, enjoying your channel
I have never even seen screw-in snap fasteners for wood. I have only seen snaps on clothing. I guess I don't get out much. But canvas and snaps as walls. That is incredible. Now I want to make something. Inspiring!!!
Excellent job on the enclosure. I started sewing as a hobby in 2019 after I retired, and have five industrial machines and a growing Etsy business making specialty bags from 1000D Cordura. Watched most of the Sailrite videos when I started, and learned a lot about the correct way to sew. Well worth the time invested. Stay comfortable and enjoy that first shower out of the wind and cold.
So interesting. Even for a 72 year old Australian lady living in the suburbs of Sydney. Love your channel. I am always waiting for your next project. Love your unassuming personality as well.
The shower room looks nice with that canvas it will be nice not getting cold when you are taking a shower it will help you for getting sick from the old ice cold before. So the next thing you build new outhouse with a mini wood stove
My wife and I live in a 32' camper here along the coast of Maine and have a similar propane heater like yours an 40lb last four days for us. Really like the canvas! I use to do alot of canvas work also.
Love all of your videos! Always been learning something from it, too! Imagine yourself buying property on a lake and building your stuff right there to rent the huts out. Could be a pretty good source if income. And still enough freedom for yourself.
Ryan I lived in a fifth wheel camper 2 years ago. I was going through a lot of propane so I got a hold of the propane company and they brought me out a mini propane tank and I filled up twice a month basically every two weeks It was a lot cheaper than every two or three days and a refill the 40 lb tanks up
Loved this video. Happy you did a hidden zipper. I've been wanting to do a hidden zipper but it's been so long ago since I did one, I had forgotten how to it. I was intimidated by the thought of doing it. Thank you for taking away the scariness for me. Shower looks awesome.
Happy Saturday morning! The shower looks great, and as others have said, the color goes so well. You clearly have skill in the canvas world! I’m getting a real kick out of the contrast between the canvas work and the chainsaw woodworking - you actually drew a plan! 😉
What a transformation I didn’t know you were such a good artist with this sewing machine wonderful work the place is coming along beautifully I still hope you get a dog be safe be happy God bless you hope to see you next Saturday
Saturday morning cartoons used to be my thing 40 years ago now I look forward to a dose of Ringworm. Is there a chance, we will see a small sailing craft made from chainsaw lumber & home made canvass sails? I am enjoying the projects Ryan. This week I'll be milling with my chainsaw too & working with oak & maple pallets.
Very nice work! I tried looking through the comments to see if anyone had already said this, but there are too many. Using the Mr. Heater with the rubber hose adapter, you probably should use one of their filter adapters. It fits between the heater and hose, and it keeps particles from the hose as it degrades from causing an obstruction in the heater.
Great video. Love the little sweat shop in the woods. What comes next… paved trails, a big box store and a coffee shop. All hail Mayor McFritz! Love the progress and glad that 2023 is starting off so well. Thanks for sharing!
Worm, love the canvas work you're doing at you camp. Worked in a canvas industry job for 20+ years as a youngun. Spent many a cold winter day in NE repairing canvas products. (Awnings etc) (LOL)
good to see you have some protection from the elements, my trade in the RAF was Survival Equipment and part of that was Packing and repairing Parachutes and quite a few what we called gash jobs, (mostly repairing and making things from fabric) all on our own time !!!!!! I'm looking forward to seeing your up coming videos
G'day Wormers 👍
Is that what we're calling ourselves? I was thinking Ringers? But I can live with it. 🐛 🪱
@@daveRiccardi both are equally terrible, but let's work with what we got 😆🤭👍
Few people are able to communicate enough to keep you interested, but not so much that you get bored and leave. Love your stuff!

My uncle was a profeasional upholster. He was the best in town. You, sir are as good as he was. Very professional work!! Looks really nice...
Never thought watching somebody sew would be interesting or entertaining. Guess I was wrong.
Looks good, my man.
I'm not surprised at all that you know how to operate an industrial sewing machine. It's a great skill to have.
38:35, damn.... turned out sharp, it'll make a huge difference!
I can handle zero degree weather fine, but when it's windy... 50 degrees is cold!

How pathetic am I. I’ve been up for an hour waiting with anticipation for this. 😂
Nothing pathetic about it brother 🙏
This guys consistency with great videos is brilliant 👍 have a great weekend everyone 👏
You are not alone!🌞
Not pathetic... simply good taste.
Lol I thought about this upcoming video at 5 am.
Look how pathetic our lives have become.
That looks fantastic and I'm sure it's going to make your showering experience a million times better
Now you just need an outhouse that looks about the same
These canvas panels are absolutely GENIUS!!.

Well sir, another nice job on another convenience project. You do know that's how cities were started . . .
Extremely impressed, I have to hand it to you, some of the best craftsmanship on you tube
I would love to see you make a yurt, with your tailor skills and woodworking, it would be incredible
it also has the added benifit of being a "tent", but insulated enough to be a winter option
That is the nicest outdoor shower I have ever seen and I have seen alot where I am great job!!!
Quoting Hunter S Thompson... Nice...
That is one awesome shower enclosure! Kudos to the designer!

You might want to set up an internal shower curtain to protect the canvas from soap splatter.
You're presuming he uses soap >.>

Its an impressive hower for one. A timber frame tent made something like that would be super cool in the summer. With screened in windows.
Tito needs a channel too :)
I'm so glad I found this channel. Your awesome.
GREAT JOB!!!
What a great online business to do remotely. Custom off-grid shower kits. NICE!!!
Great color combination of the wood and canvas.
