How come most garbage collection company’s make the same gray looking colored bond but paint the lids a certain color like for example green instead of the whole bin green.

Don’t know why they decided to make the change to use grey for trash esntead of recycling now and discontinue Red
A new law requires black or Gray = garbage blue = recycle and green = organic waste and also lib colors count.
