  • In this video I create an old photo booth. I 3D modelled it using Autodesk Maya and textured it using Adobe Substance 3D Painter.
3D model, working files and a real-time video including the full UV mapping process available on my Patron.

Question: I noticed you modeled in different parts, Do you combine everything after or you just leave it as it is and uv each? And how do I properly uv and arrange an object with multiple parts?

Yes, I UV each piece individually. In most cases I combine objects after UVing them, in this video I kept them as separate objects. You can see the full UV process in real time on my Patron page :) Planning a mini UV mapping course soon where I go over everything, stay tuned! 👀

Sir, I am facing a problem. When I apply the texture of Substance Painter to Maya and render it, it looks like a balloon. How can I fix please help?

The materials must not be connected correctly, it may also be your displacement map causing it. I have a video on my channel showing how to connect materials from Substance to Maya, check it out if you haven't! I hope it helps :)
