It's crazy to see AEW working with CMLL now... And people are finally getting to see Mistico beyond Botch Cara. Minus a slight stumble that wasn't the worst.
Now if they could just get AAA and CMLL to work out their differences

Facts! I think he was the one that made this happen. He wrestles everywhere and I think he said he wanted AEW to form a relationship with CMLL back then. He also wrestles at MLW and I think Tony should call Salina to get her as a manager for someone there, she’s so good.

Pueda que se de algo de AEW y CMLL en Mexico. Claudio nunca a luchado en Arena Mexico y Dijo que es su sueño luchar en esa Arena y en el Tokyo Dome de Japon. Yeah a little exaggeration there. Mistico is not as big as Santo, Blue Demon nor Mascaras. He’s definitely top 10 in terms of popularity and definitely the most famous of the last 20 years. But not “ever”.

Opening another Forbidden Door! Now AEW can use both AAA and CMLL talent as long as they don't share the same ring. It's so great seeing wrestling be such an international thing again (Rocky is still an NJPW wrestler despite being a CMLL champion) and AEW truly is the central hub of the wrestling world.
Calling Mistico "perhaps the most famous luchador ever produced by Mexico" was more than just an exaggeration, though, it was a whopper so massive that I'm surprised Excalibur's mask didn't crawl off his head in shame! Yes, he's well-known, but more famous than Rey Mysterio, Gory Guerrero, Mil Mascaras, Blue Demon and _El Santo_ for crying out loud? He's not even in the same division of fame!
Also _Jesus_ that is a BIG REF!
Now they can do a forbidden door of AEW/NJPW/CMLL/ AAA, hopefully they make one in arena Mexico and then when estadio Azteca is done with the remodeling they can do a show there.
You know I would put mistico in the same category as el santo, blue demon and Rey. We both know mistico is beloved internationally (maybe not so much in the U.S but then the same would apply for Blue demon and El santo).

According to a friend of mine... after the match, Tony Khan offered him an AEW contract (which would probably allow him to split time between AEW and CMLL), so you might just get your wish.
