Misterioso buried by Rush and Preston Vance on AEW Dark Elevation this past week in a tag team match. I wondered why he wasn't with Barrett Brown or Tyler Bateman? Hopefully the next time he's booked he gets more of chance to show what he can really do.
Because AEW is shitty when it comes to booking and doesn't care about wrestlers who have no contract there. That's why big names from smaller companies don't want to work for AEW anymire.
it is believed that original sin cara was a botch fest primarily due to the ropes and quality thereof. materials used in mexico/japan are not the same as that of america and thereby he had a tough time holding things together. This is what I read - the veracity of which is unknown to me.
I think it's a little simpler than that: Sin Cara's mask design probably did him no favors either, nor did the lights during his matches to add to his presentation... and the fact he just had no desire to properly learn the WWE style (which makes sense; he's a fucking luchadore... he was signed to do lucha shit.)

It was a mix of things that just added up: The lights didnt help, his mask blocked somewhat his view, he didnt adapt to the WWE ring rope (WWE uses rope while CMLL and NJPW uses elevator's wires), he didnt adapt his style to the american style (like Mysterio did and made his style work within WWE and WCW and even ECW), he didnt learn english what made in ring communication hard, because of his lack of english and lack of managers his promo work was limited, etc Most of this could've been avoided if he went to FCW or even NXT to develop but WWE decided against their better judge to sign him to Raw because he was the hottest luchador at that moment, they learn their lessons and didn't make that mistake with Alberto Del Rio (though that career went off the rails thanks to other decisions)
This is what I enjoy the most in Lucha Libre a 1 on 1 Ras de Lona/Technical Wrestling and High Flying matches... Mexico has amazing Luchadors but they keep showcasing so much Tag Team Matches and never any singles matches and part of the heart of lucha libre has started with great technical wrestling in singles matches and it moved away from that in favor of Tag Teams which moves away from great wrestling fare to acrobatic circus unfortunately...
EXACTLY!! Aew especially with them always having pentagon jr and fenix with bandido in tag team matches my goodness it’s gotten repetitive. I love them but I prefer seeing them in singles matches
@@neverangel24officialytchan87 of course and that’s the norm and what’s being identified in Lucha Libre Tradition and Culture but can’t forget the original tradition of Lucha Libre has always been Technical Wrestling Singles Matches… Mil Máscaras, Canek, Santo, Blue Demon and the Guerreros where all phenomenal Technical Wrestlers that transitioned to other styles and blended very well but now Lucha Libre unfortunately has become spectacles of Acrobatics and less focus on true technicality of wrestling as it was before from those legends of wrestlers that I mentioned

If mistico used to botch he don’t no mo. Lots of practice! Looks like he doesn’t head first his crazier moves and makes sure he lands. Pretty awesome match
It's called "Not having HHH rushing you to the top because he wanted to make a point and not covering his eyes in the same colors than the gimmick lighting you put in his matches".
@@Paugose it is sort of the chicken and egg story, the cause and effect of which is unknown. as a child, I had tremendous expectations from him but original sin cara botched on his very first night. it is, they say, to conceal his botches that the lights were dimmed. not to mention his attitude backstage and the language barriers too. he is not the first luchador, nor the last to work with an American promotion. more discipline could have made it.
Hopefully masacra dorada will get payback on tjp time for he and samuray del sol challenge catch 2/2 for iwgp jr tag team championship in Japan or battle in the valley

@@emysta7856 Carístico and this Místico are the same (he regained the blessing from CMLL to use it, since the "Místico Nueva Era" left for AAA), he'd normally use Ameno and still does it in the Mexican indies, but as far as CMLL and New Japan are concerned, he's entering on a production theme, the title is unknown. As Carístico, he entered on "Me Muero", wich can still be heard during his Místico entrance if he takes too long to get in the ring.

The original CMLL Místico was Sin Cara (azul) in WWE, Myzteziz in AAA, Carístico as a freelancer (he legally owns the name) and Místico under CMLL contract. Místico Nueva Era is the first Dragon Lee, he gave the name to his younger brother (current Dragon Lee) and is now wrestling as Dralístico. Given he's of the Ingobernables family, he may have appeared in AEW.
