When mine failed, I learned how to do this quite well. Turns out, it was my door wire harness was broken the whole time. Anyway, I have a couple backup door modules on a shelf.
Good God I wish it were this easy on the Jetta version. You've gotta take the door skin off and VW decided to add this stupid Rube Goldberg apparatus between the frame and the skin that locks into half of everything on the door. One of mine broke and unless I can get at it through one of the holes on the edge or drill out the speaker rivets and reach up through there, I'm looking at swapping the whole door out.
I've been watching your stuff for a while and have used your videos to work on my 09 Audi a3 . I need your help I have a long crank condition when car Is cold but runs fine when it starts . When it's hot and sits for 20mins it starts and immediately stall or runs very rough then stalls do that for 3 times and then it starts and runs fine . I have no codes and has no drivability issues.
@naptowntuner how do you fix the Ac issue on a 2016 audi a4 it just stopped working the compressor is fine and everything I also replaced the sensor switch for the ac but still hot air
Hi, I’m from Europe and I have a question regarding my Audi A5 2010 2.0 TFSI 180hp CDNB. For some time after starting the engine, it makes a suction sound. I have a new Bosch filter, there are no leaks, and the timing belt was recently replaced.”
Off topic but I have a question bro I have a 2015 2.0t engine. I have the head off due to a burnt exhaust valve being fixed by machine shop. My question is it has the 2014 bp pistons, do these have the updated oil control rings or should I update them while engine is apart.
Naptown, Shawn from Apex auto and I have 2012 Q5 that I did a motor rebuild on. Bearings, pistons rings. New valves rollers and it runs great and does not use oil anymore. Only thing that is strange is when I start it goes to high idle for a couple minutes and feels like it has a miss but it idles down it’s fine. Any suggestions
@@shawnjohnson5653 they all do a high idle for about a minute to heat up the engine faster, unless it has an actual misfire then I wouldn’t worry about it, other than that they all get excessive carbon on the valves
Bro Working On An A5 Quattro Coupe. Hella White/Bluish Smoke. Lack Of Maintenance. Car Was Overheating & Wasting Coolant. Replaced The WaterPump, Replaced HPFP. Timing Chain Has Oil Leak From What I See. 12 Codes Now Only 3. Knock Sensor, Fuel Pressure Sensor & P0016 Cam & Crankshaft Out Of Synch. Your Expert Opinion?
Smoke is something else, timing is bad, about to bend valves if its original, if it was changed it needs re-timed I’ll make a video of how to check timing maybe tomorrow. I already have one but I’ll do it again for a short. I need to get one of my front yard cars done anyway. You might also just need a fuel rail sensor & knock sensor but fix timing first
@@NaptownTuner Thank You For Replying. I Ordered A Fuel Rail Sensor Waiting For It To Come. I Watch All Your Videos. I Love Them. Your Smart Asf. 1st Time Working On Audi. The Blue Smoke Stopped After I Changed The HPFP & Drained The Oil/Fuel Mixture Out. I Appreciate You.
Hey Naptown tuner! If I send you a cashapp or superchat can you give me some insight on what might be going on on with my 2006 volks Passat 2.0fsi turbo. I explain the issues in a short paragraph. No games here I believe a man should be paid for his time and knowledge
My question is I’m getting coolant mixed in with the motor oil. Motor runs really rough and sometimes doesn’t start, and the transmission slips in every gear including reverse to the point I could barely get enough power to make it into the driveway. Is this car worth saving? Whats your cashapp
You the MAN!
