This is such a tough one. Definitely not an apples to apples comparison by my standard, but you have never been afraid to do those comparisons, which is what I love. I think I’d have to go Yeungling. I just think that balance is hard to beat.

German here, every time I‘m in the US (East Coast) always Yuengling. This beer is so good and I‘ve met Dick Yuengling personally 😊

German here, definitly Yuengling! Heineken is nothing for me, Yuengling i didn't had since 20years but i remember it remindet me of Hacker Pschorr Helles, only problem with Yuengling is the watery taste that a Heineken doesn't have.
I just tried this beer and I absolutely love it...high quality and it's a good value.

Yuengling, though, is my absolute favorite! Inexpensive, tastes great, easy to find!
Love yuengling premium and premium light beers. The light can be hard to find, even in Philly area. Very easy drinker, great summer time drink. Coming back around to lager, a little sweet for me.
I love both of these they are both have very distinct tastes and you cant mistake them for any other beer.

I don't like skunk, so it has to be Yuengling, I only had it offered by friends but it's very agreeable to drink.
Very agreeable indeed! Anytime I’m in the states and am in a situation where I need to choose between some big brands, Yuengling is always a go-to if it’s available.

I was in Maryland and taste Yingling (Jüngling in German) and it was the best beer I taste in US! ..in and Heineke is ony a mainsteam beer!

Come on!! Do a real test.. Put The Yuengling Lager down and Try the Lord Chesterfield Ale from Yuengling in a green bottle..I live in Pottsville.. Been drinking Yueng since mid 80s ..
🤣🤣 You know what.. we just went to the Yuengling taphaus in Tampa a few weeks ago and I got to try the Chesterfield ale for the first time. It was great! My favorite was their Bock though, which for now is kinda hard to find unfortunately.
@@BeerBrackets Yuengling has about 7 or 8 different beer depending on times of the year..Bock is out now I had one 2 weeks ago and it tasted like more..lol but I had to drive....Idk if you ever had the Porter or Black & Tan ..The Original Brewery in Pottsville has tours and gift shop .. Good beer like Rollin Rock once was until Budweiser bought them out...The Original Rollin Rock in Latrobe,Pa was awesome back in the day
@@BeerBrackets The Yuengling Brewers years ago here in Schuylkill County you would buy a case of 24 Yuengling 16 oz Returnable bottles for $11 drink the beer take the empty case back to the beer distributor and get a $1.50 in return or $1.50 off your next case..Back in the 80s a case of 12 quarts $7.50..Bush parties!! Good times..

Ying lager is #1... I recently went to brewery and drank every model... Lager is the only Ying I preferred.
I can drink lager till I can drink no more and wake up as if I hadn't drank too many. No other beer does that for me. And buzz? A nice controled not drunken stupper like I'd get if I over indulge. Note I make sure not to drive any time regardless.
I side with Heineken, in this matchup.
In 2023 both are trash to me but back in 2005 I would vote yuengling. In 1998 its Heineken all day
Common man, I'm not the biggest Yuengling fan because I like more hops in my beer but it's definitely not trash. When it comes to easily accessible beers in a lot of places, you can do a lot worse and it's better than any anheiser Busch product.
I've never really considered Heineken up there in the list of good beers but maybe because I've always equated it to those god-awful mini kegs people would buy in college because "omg its a keg", only for it to come out as straight foam every time
Haha yeah it’s always a challenge getting a good pour out of those mini kegs. You hit a sweet spot about half way through where it pours super well, but there’s a lot of foam bookending that.
For what its intended purpose is for Heineken wins all day for me. It’s a lawn mower beer, or baseball game. You want crisp, biscuity, refreshing. And dead effing cold. Green monster. Plus Heineken is pure malt

I used to be a hardcore Heineken drinker. Ever since being introduced to IPA, Heineken tastes like trash
Yuengling has always been smooth but even that has been upstaged by the IPA takeover
IPAs taste like pine cones. Literally, every single one…but they definitely get you drunk, so there’s that. When I worked at Yellowstone, I loved this beer that was brewed by Yellowstone brewery I think, called Grizzly Wolf. It’s the only beer that I’ve personally thought was as good as Yuengling.

Definitely Heineken for me. Have to disagree boys. I only had yuengling once on vacation but I don't think it stands up to Heiney very well.
