    Hi, long time no see.
    For those wondering where we have been. A few months ago we ran into copyright issues which totally blindsided us. It was an extremely stressful time, but also a huge eye opener and honestly we learned a lot.
    We are still in the process of reviewing some of our old videos, but in the meantime have completely re-done our content style and are officially back to posting. We will be uploading 3 times per week!
    Thanks for sticking with us, and stay tuned because we have some seriously awesome content coming.

      That’s not an accurate statement at all. The people who ran those factories made errors and many of them working there died as well. They were the first in line to receive toxic chemicals or death by explosion. If maintenance were done properly, accidents may have been avoided.

      I think people underestimate Chernobyl due to how little people died, officially 31 died, yet we know of almost 100 people who died including 54 first responders from ARS, 18 from cancer, 2 in the initial blast, yet compared to other things this seems kind of sub par, yet it’s the number of people it affected that makes it stand out, almost 800,000 people were conscripted to work, Soviet Union kept no records of their fate, 300,000 people displaced from their homes. Just horrible, definitely should be on here. Obviously thousands died of cancer as a result yet we can’t put a number on it estimated range is 16,000- upwards of 100,000.

    We just had a large chemical fire in Rockton Illinois. Last week the chemtool companies building burned completely down over the course of over a day. The black plume of smoke went directly over my house which is 13 miles away and over the past week we've been finding small pieces of lightweight porous carbonized debris in the yard. The smoke plume over the house made it look like it was a very dark cloudy day even though it was a bright sunny day with no clouds in the sky.

      Apparently the crew of Chernobyl were pretty sleep deprived, thus resulting in some major safety protocols either skipped entirely, or they chose to skip certain steps. This would have been nice to see from the crews point of view, they get their much needed sleep.
      Unfortunately we all know the results of this blatant disregard of the step by step detailed protocols, and the most toxic thing to have ever been known on our planet is a direct result. Aka the elephants foot.

    • @lordminosiii6081
      @lordminosiii6081 2 роки тому +1

      Vajont and Banqiao weren't quite man-made I'd say - both were mostly caused by some kind of natural disaster. In Vajont it was a landslide and Banqiao was mostly due to a typhoon. Now it's true that they failed to properly prepare for those things, but it wasn't just bad architecture.
      If you want a bad dam failure that was pretty much exclusively the fault of people cutting corners, look to the Val di Stava tailings dams.

      In the grand scheme of things it was more expensive than it was a killer. Definitely one of the worst in history, and definitely killed a lot of people, but the numbers are heavily disputed, but if we go by sheer bodycount literally nothing holds a candle to the Bhopal MIC accident. 500000 people received permanent sometimes invisible respiratory system damage due to MIC exposure, up to 16000 died immediately, and more continue to die every day due to the respiratory damage, and poisoning of the ground water in the region.

    So many misinformation about Deepwater H on Macondo well. Of course the casing (9-7/8" x 7") was cemented : due to the very narrow pressure window foam cement was used in combination with regular class H cement for the shoe track. During cement displacement conclusion were that foam cement lead and tail where contaminated inside the shoe track and channeling occurred also in the annular. It is believed that the float colar (2x check valves) failed while displacing part of the well (around 8300ft) from heavier mud to light sea water before P&A (thus underbalanced against pore pressure), thus shoe track of the 7" was filled with non competent cement and allow the kick to occur. The CBL test wasn't done as it should be and the negative test wasn't done properly etc. It's a combination of poor decision from BP.

    Union Carbide was/is a chickenshit outfit. After working in the industrial chemistry business for several year in plastics and agricultural organic chemicals I have seen many chemical plants manufacturing for various chemical companies. ALL of the operations are substandard concerning safety and pollution. Most are ticking time bombs. The payoff to local, state, and federal governments is staggering but the profits make it worth it.The contaminants resulting from the chemical accidents and shoddy practices can/do result in carcinogenic, teratogenic, etc. in future generations.

      "ALL of the operations are substandard concerning safety and pollution." Not in the UK and other european countries, they aren't. We have strict safety and environmental laws and operating procedures. None of these chemical explosions happened in european countries. Funny that. The London smog was caused by a combination of natural events. In the 1950s, coal fires were the norm. Gas central heating didn't exist yet.

    • @tomnekuda3818
      @tomnekuda3818 3 роки тому

      @@simontay4851 I will agree the the European Union does a much better job of regulating big business in terms of pollution and contaminants than here in the States. When my oldest daughter was studying for her postdoctoral engineering degree in London at Imperial College I got a chance to go over and see the British Isles and some of the Continent. My daughter/son-in-law worked all throughout Europe and would definitely back up that statement. That said, Europe is not perfect but better......there still is much to be done. The most asinine thing that the U.S. (Trump) has done recently was pull out of the Paris Accord. Hopefully, the U.S., under Biden will not only become part of the Accord but begin the clean-up here at home. Russia, China, North Korea, most of the Indonesian Region is rife with a disregard for the planet, it's many species, and mankind itself. I pray for and wait in hopes that the world will WAKE UP! My belief is that we are at the "tilt -point" and there is zero time to waste before the damage to Mother Earth cannot be reversed. Keep in mind that dynamic events such as explosions are rare and do not represent much of the total problem. It is, rather, the insidious day-to-day constant pollutions of our air, streams, and lands that quietly continues without let-up and without any regard other than corporate profit.
