This does not work for me. When I drag the AD2 .adg file I downloaded from the website that's when everything goes wrong. If I drag it as you do, the drum rack disappears and AD2 is only available. If I drag it further down to where it says "Drop and instrument or sample here" it still doesn't work like in the video. I'm doing everything exactly as you do.

very strange, the template works but the drum rack pads dont match my additive drums 2 sounds at all?

It was made for general midi mode. Go to the Map Window (click on the setting button on the top right - the 3 lines) and switch the map to GM
