Really powerful message, you articulated this so well, and truthfully I can relate to much of what you were saying.
Man this is a real check for me. As a married man and an artist I definitely feel the most comfortable in control. I really need to let the spirit lead me more. At one point in my life that’s how I operated but I let it slip. Thank you for this message!
I promise you it was on my heart this morning to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to partner with me on something’s in my life. For me to use the language partner felt different and closer to God. Well a few hours later the clip of this sermon popped up on my Instagram that talked about partnership with the Holy Spirit. I came running to watch this sermon and it spoke to every part of my prayers. I look forward to learning more during this series.

I've never thought of the holy spirit narrative of weirdness as being demonic. I've always wondered how people would be moved to tears during worship or break out in tongues. That has always freaked me out to this day. As a 33 year old tongues freak me out. Then the reqveqlationnof control being at the centre of the fall??? Mind blown... what do you even mean??!!! Like in my daily life, I have thr choices to either partner with God through the holy spirit or with Satan through control???? Mindblowm

Preston, thank you for speaking what God is teaching you. When you said Satan’s number 1 fear is mankind’s partnership with God through the Holy Spirit (using the example of Mary’s virgin birth)….you laughed and said don’t worry you’re not going to get pregnant. My mind immediately asked…but what will you give birth to in the spirit realm? Maybe a different kind of pregnancy? Just a thought. God bless you.
