Parlee is my favorite in NB as well! But, being an Islander I have to say that Basin Head or 'Singing Sands' in PEI is my favorite in Atlantic Canada. It's a bit of drive but worth the trip. White quartz sand and crystal clear tropical like waters.
you rock, from N,B, originally, as an adult now I appreciate the beauty of N.B, and the beauty of the people there, , thanks, and may you and your beautiful family always be safe and surrounded by love !! laeving San Diegothis morning on my way back to Palm Springs, , might sound nice, but cali is to crazy, lol,
Don't forget to check out Mount Carleton! If you love kayaking and hiking, definitely the place to go. Would love to see a video on it from you. Cheers, from Bathurst NB!
Parlee Beach often has water issues and isn't swimmable. :/ I prefer Plage Aboiteau or Aboiteau Wharf or Sandy Beach, all in Cap-Pelé, accessible by the same road (same stretch of beach, different access points). You are right though; warmest beaches on the East Coast are in Shediac and Cap-Pelé. Also, you should check out tubing down the Miramichi River (Gallan's or Vicker's).
@@atribecalledowens Gallan's tubing is awesome, warning its and extra 45 minute drive once you reach miramichi. Ill second sandy Beach, nicest beach by a mile and where most locals go.
Next time go 15 minutes further to Cape Pele "Sandy Beach". This is where all the locals go. Nicer beach, cleaner, just as warm and they have a craft brewery right at the beach! "Aboiteau" and plenty of cottages to rent :)
YES! You gotta go to the Bouctouche Eco Dune! Like Parlee only with one tenth of the people and it’s 22kms LONG! Our favourite in all of Atlantic Canada! Many drive up from Halifax just to go to that beach it’s that good 😁
Is it nice and clean? We have been struggling to find nice clean water to swim in nb seems alot of the water has a super high iron content and smells horrible or has blue green algae issues
I've never been to Parlee, I've always been told it's dirty and I always hear it's shut down due to algae etc. At home, we love Saints Rest, but not for swimming. My family likes Mispec as well. We went to PEI last week and loved Cavendish Beach. We found another about halfway between there and Summerside that was beautiful, too!
I'm from Northern Manitoba but my parents are from Nova Scotia (Digby, my dad, Inverness, my mom). I spent almost every summer in Inverness, Cape Breton with lots of time at Inverness beach. A trip you MUST do is the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, which ends in the Inverness area. Same waters as Parlee but often with some more surfable waves (higher winds) if you're into that kind of thing.
Define "best beach". "Best" should be replaced with "your favorite". 😉😉I lived in Moncton NB for 34 years and I agree with other posters that Sandy Beach is as nice but quieter. There are great beaches along the coast of Eastern NB. Parlee Beach gets a lot of advertising because it's a provincial park and it is located at the heart of a touristic region. Explore, people. EXPLORE !!!
Yes, the community is Shediac and Parlee Beach is IN Shediac. You’re correct, it’s the best one. Aboiteau (just a little drive past Parlee) is nice too but privately owned. What did you think of the little hermit crabs? I’ll spend hours looking for them.
Shhhh! Parlee Beach is the best-kept secret in NB! Do you really want it to get overrun with tourists? Lol. Another decent saltwater beach I can think of is Youghall Beach by Bathurst but of course the water is not as warm.
Do you have a favourite beach in New Brunswick? Or better yet, Atlantic Canada?! Let us know! 😊

Thanks for watching!!
Beautiful. Peaceful
Loving summer time!

Yes! Maybe this summer
Did you have lots of mosquitos there at everything at the camp?
A few but not too bad!

Oh wow. Must visit there for sure!
I'll second this comment. ❤

Oh interesting 😮
Jelly fish too at time on the east coast.

Nice! Lots of options.

Yes absolutely. And that trip is definitely on the bucket list!

The Best is what we like most obviously 🤣 Thank you though will explore Sandy next summer!

Ya we saw a few! Good spot!
When she was asking, repeatedly “can I have it?” CRACKED me up!
And where did you find plant based marshmallows?
Haha ya the little one likes s’mores a lot.
Simply For Life in Saint John has them!

Haha ya luckily there will always be another gem just around the corner out here.
I went this summer. Definitely not a secret. Lol.
Look out for the toilet paper!!
lol
Bouctouche Dunes. Hands down. Spotless. No riffraff. Free parking. Absolutely beautiful.
Oh wow! Checking that out for sure!
