One thing that just happened to me, probably not on the subject,but customer asked me to pick up hot spicy sauce or something,im like i pick up deliver,thats extra,call restaurant let them get it,not paying enough to bring it really,they buying $50 worth of food,this oerson took upon themselve to dip in my money ,i blocked them,dont put up with dipping in my earned money,last time will do that.
@@boyds434 Yes, good point. I rarely offer “extra services” for cash or trusting to pay me back by increasing my tip. Overall it’s a bad idea. It would be one thing if they offer a cash payment when we see each other at the door before I accept another order. But that rarely almost never happens. Thank you for sharing this! Another potential scam, happened to me,didnt get scammed,but was fishy ,person said call this number,if have problems,wasnt the apps number,was a number outside the gig,if something goes wrong, you're not protected.
@@boyds434 That is sneaky! Thank you for sharing that. Looks like the scammer is trying to start a conversation and offline in the hopes of scamming you later. I’ve had customers put their phone number in the notes and I assume they just don’t know that the app is the way to communicate. I rarely call their number outside of the app. If I do, I use a different phone not connected to my gig app account. Russ
