CH probably doesn’t have anything to worry about, as Alzheimer’s is really type 3 diabetes... which is really caused by a HCLF diet, and should be outlawed in the future.
personally I ditched sugar (a super refined carb) in 1990 .. but isolated healthy whole grains as the next issue that was ruining me and my parents in 2008. no such thing as a healthy grain .. for any mammal. let alone humans. huge linkage to cancers in pets.
Wheat Belly (2011) came out .. but I didn’t read it until .. 2015 maybe. explains a lot. wish someone in my circles recommended it at launch.
PA might regain his hair if he stopped grains .. but most Drs erroneously think it is generic. that is a little known myth. it is actually a wonderful early warning sign you have started to run out of the right nutrients for your microbiome.
I have regrown a full set of hair in male pattern baldness patients in under a week with a proper diet introduced to a SAD diet mantra patient, so .. many things will be possible in the future for the commoners who seek the truth + delve into how individual our microbes are.

If you have a family history, especially being a man and it being in your father’s side, that is something to be mindful of. But all people of primarily European descent have an increased chance of it. But diet and learning new things can help. Part of the issue with those previous generations is they worked in jobs that didn’t require constant learning then retired to the couch. The world isn’t really like that now. Learning new skills is lifelong and I’m not sure how many of us will ever completely stop working, since most of us just work with computers and not manual labor now.

Well, it's been reported that his grandfather is going through having Alzheimer's disease right now. Many people in life think that due to eating healthy and doing exercises to be healthy, but due to genetics can still not be healthy. It's both genetics and lifestyle that makes a person healthy and if either one is not healthy then it's about taking safety measures to make sure to be healthy as soon as possible.
Him knowing he is 8 to 10 times more likely than the average person to get Alzheimer's disease allowed him to make a decision for him to take a break from acting and spending time with his kids and wife, which I read from an article that was released on him taking a break and the statistics it means when someone has both those genes that Chris Hemsworth has to get Alzheimer's disease. Also, mentioned, a quarter of the people have only 1 of the gene while 2-3% of the population have 2 genes when it comes to Alzheimer's disease.

Why talk about him like he's already dead? He's got an increased chance of getting Alzheimer, but even his doctor said that with the right amount of lifestyle changes he can bring that risk back to the risk a person without those genes has. He's healthier than 99% of people already, there's a good chance he'll outlive a lot of us. Chawick was dealing with stage 3 cancer that spread. That's a whole different beast. Very few people survive stage 4 cancer. And when they do theres a huge risk it'll come back later.

With all his money he has access to the best nutrition, exercise and professional help a person can possibly get. What does “8-10x more likely” really mean in the face of being a hyper successful human being that can avoid so many of life’s common stressors. His lifestyle is not “average” so he very well might not even contract the disease at all if he continues to take good care of his body & mind. Just to have been given this warning through bloodwork by a world renowned medical professional is an incredibly privileged thing he was able to receive… to be honest, I’m not really worried about the guy. I think he’s going to be just fine.

The way Chris lives and all that he does is likely NOT how his parents and grandparents lived their lives. His physical health is tops. He is constantly stimulated by his job alone. The book AGING WITH GRACE is a great book to give an idea of Alzheimer’s. Dr. Snow had a built in study with Notre Dame nuns. The discovery, when he autopsied the brains of the many women he got to know personally, offered hope. To change your lifestyle for the better at any point…right now!…can make a huge difference for the better. I pray the best for Chris. 🙏
