We stop at the town of Mae Hong Son, visit temples and a local cafe bakery, before moving onto Khun Yuam, a town right on the border of Myanmar, with a relationship to Japan. Ugh. Well, I assume you're slammed with making and editing upcoming videos. It's part of my day job to do deep dive research into all kinds of things so in between working this week I'll see if I come across anything that might help stop the bleeding. And not just generic stuff like "keep going!" lol

This week I’ve definitely been a bit down in the dumps from it aha it I’ve watched endless videos about what to do to grow on UA-cam but no one really seems to know 😂 we debated even starting a new channel because of all the unsubs to see if it would help but I could imagine the same happening 😅
@@AlwaysAway Yeah that's what I'm afraid of finding too. A lot of it seems to be blind luck. I just don't understand why people would unsub though. People who jumped onboard from the Japan videos (like me lol) I'm sure are subbed to all the usual names associated with Japan vloggers from your brother to the Trash Taste crew and all their individual channels. But this is something so totally new and exciting with amazing hosts I'd hope they'd stay for the quality content

Imma be honest: until this and your last few videos, I didn’t even know Burning Season was a thing! I thought it was the name of some killer mystery book or something. This is great stuff to know, and not the kind of thing potential travellers ever hear about from UA-camrs, most of which just want to make everything look amazing, and like nothing ever goes wrong. Even when we lived in the neighbouring province we didn’t experience burning season like we are this year, we definitely didn’t realise how bad it can get, definitely wanted to show it because it must be incredibly frustrating spending a load of money to come here on holiday and being stuck in toxic fog all day! 🥲

Another entertaining and informative video. Great stuff. Please try not to be disheartened regarding the subscriber issue. IMHO you guys are genuinely talented. Considering you have made 43 videos to date; the photography, editing, music etc is incredible. You also have something special in that you both seem like genuine, honest and likeable people which will pay dividends in the long term, the phrase “click for content, stay for the creators” springs to mind. You also have a great sense of humor and bounce off each other in a very charming and entertaining way. That cannot be learned or faked. I think that you are right in that a lot of subscribers came onboard for the Japanese content and are not quite so interested in Thailand. Also it does seem to me that there is a lot more Thai travel related content, so you have a lot more competition when it comes to your current videos. As I recall, Chris’ channel really gained traction due to a 3 minute video on chocolate French fries and a North Korean missile test! Neither success could have been planned or predicted. Keep on creating and I’m sure that the channel will ultimately be a huge success.❤👍

This time of year really does suck, I couldn't even see the end of my street clearly today because the air was so smoky 😭 Kanchanaburi is a really beautiful place, I hope you get to visit one day, I visited there mostly when I was a kid so I didn't fully understand the history but my Dad is really into history so has done a lot of reading into what happened there.

Brilliant Video as usual!! I was curious though, are there any places that are women only? Besides maybe the obvious of restrooms/changing rooms.
Thank you! 💖 And there aren’t no, the only thing that comes to mind is there are female only parking spots in some places like the mall and at petrol stations, they’re usually wider and closer to the place, and you can’t park there if you have a man with you. It’s handy when the rest of the mall’s carpark is filled up 😂
Woman are also not allowed to touch the ring at Thai boxing matches - in case they "pollute" the ring which is considered a holy place!
