Ok I booked this place last month for my birthday next month. I almost changed my mind but you just renewed it.
You won't have a worry in the world after check-in. We've been to a ton of AI resorts in the past few years and I put FPC in my top 3 of 30.
Hi, this was a really good and informative video-Ty. Would u recommend this for a family with adult children. My hubby and I just turned 40 and our kids are 20 and 21. Is there enough to do at night for most ages? Thanks in advance
Absolutely recommend for families of varying ages who are looking for a more pampered, evenly-paced vacation with good resort food! There are shows & varying activites at night, sports bar comes alive, fiestas, courtyard shows. There is something for everyone here. It's a premium family experience & it's well-priced for everything offered & the quality of service. I'd even say that Finest beats out Dreams when it comes to a more luxe family vibe. If you want an activity-packed family vacation, I'd recommend Barcelo Premium Level Rooms or TRS at Grand Palladium (18+ resort with club level amenities and non reciprocal access to the entire Grand Palladium complex). Though Barcelo and Grand Palladium will not have as delicious of food but still good for all inclusive standards. Enjoy your vacation!

Thanks so much for this detailed review! Do you know if they have swim out rooms with double beds? Me and my husband and our 18 year old would like to book a room but not sure if they provide this accommodation for 1 room.
Yes, they have a slightly different version of this room non club with 2 queen beds and other 2 queen bed options under Finest Club. Excellence honors the web prices if you prefer to call your reservation in to make sure you get 2 queen beds. And thank you, glad to help! 😊

Hi hi the pool is not heated, at least not at the time we were there, but the temperature is comfortable. Enjoy your vacay 😊

@jodls2358 When we went, the weather was hot, so we weren't able to tell if the pools were heated. It's a new resort in Uvero Alto, where it's usually cooler than Bavaro, so I'm guessing the pool would have the capability of being heated. Wish I could be a bigger help!

I’m super interested in the junior swim up suite. Do you know if it’s on the adult side?
a junior suite swim up could be on the adults side or family side. if everyone in your party is above 18yrs old, you'll very like end up in the adults side. to guarantee that you'll get a room on the adults side, go for an excellence club room. however, it's a pretty tame resort, so even the family side isn't too noisy. we had a great time here and hope you do too. enjoy your trip!

Which do you think is the better resort, The Finest or the Lopesan Costa Bavaro? I'm torn between the two right now 😫
The Lopesan beach is not great, it's not a bayside beach but somehow looks like one. To unlock the nicer brand liquor and have access to areas with more attentive service, you have to book a Unique level room. But on the positive, it's a huge resort with lots to do. So if you want to party, I'd go with the Lopesan. Finest Punta has reservation-free dining with good food. Great service regardless of booking a club level room or not. Better beach than Lopesan. A tick or two "more classy" than Lopesan and is the more relaxing/chill option. Both resorts are visually stunning. So my answer: to relax in style, Finest Punta Cana. To drink and party, Lopesan. But for me, I would go to FPC again more quickly than I would Lopesan - the room type options are stunning and the room service is pretty good/fast, especially for an all inclusive. I love some me-time. 😊 Good luck choosing between 2 awesome places!

I was leaning towards Finest based off the reviews etc but u just tipped me right on over to the Finest. I was literally sitting here like a mad person waiting on your response to help guide my decision. Thank you so much! The only thing that worried me was the distance to the Finest from the airport but it doesn't matter now lol. Thanks again!

Tip: There's a silver door that looks like a fancy closet-wardrobe on the lower level of the main building/lobby -- most people just walk right by this & forget about it because it's usually closed during the day, but at night it opens to a cool lounge/club. I use HQT Transfers whenever I'm in DR - fast, reliable, great pricing. dominicantourstransfers@gmail.com If you book directly on the Finest Punta Cana website, sometimes they have a promotion that includes rides with Seasons Tours. I often find that booking directly with Excellence Resorts/Finest Resorts to be cheapest and with easy payment terms.

Is this resort good for solo travelers
I thought about this question for a bit before concluding that my answer is no. I wouldn't recommend this resort for solo travel, even as much as I love this place. It's all couples or families with young children and, at night, it's so mellow/romantic that I could see it being boring for solo travelers. I would recommend Riu Palace Punta Cana, Royalton Chic or Lopesan Costa Bavaro for solo travel or, something way left, like the solo cabins on the Breakaway plus ships of Norwegian Cruise Line - those are a blast for solo travel!
Is the price difference between first and second room huge?
@@NLO291 The difference depends on your travel dates and room type availability. Typically a few hundred dollars difference between these 2 room types.
