The Finest Punta Cana is a new resort. It is part of the Excellence Collection which just opened in October 1, 2021. The Finest is a high end All-Inclusive luxury resort for all ages but also offers Adult-Only with the Excellence Club upgrade.
We enjoyed our stay here! The people are very friendly. The drinks are top shelf! With many activities to choose from, there's always something to do! The shows (at the Finest/family side of the resort) are great! Many restaurants and menu to choose from...our favorite dish was the surf and turf! The room that we reserved was the best one we've stayed at yet! Given that it's a new resort...everything was modern, chic, and clean. You will not be disappointed! Do we recommend this resort? Most definitely!

Hello! Great video... can't wait to watch the others. We've been to Excellence El Carmen and absolutely love it!! We're thinking about trying Finest. Is there any daytime activities or evening entertainment on the AO side? We're not looking to party, but we do enjoy beach volleyball and some music in the evening and meeting new people. Don't want to be bored by 10pm. Can we go over to the family side if we want to?
Also, what are the perks from being on the AO side? Restaurants, bars, etc... and did you happen to notice if there were any adult channels?🙈🤭

Hi all day activities starts at 0730 am. They’ll have you add their app so it will be easy for you to see their activities for the day and yes they have beach volleyball too… we personally loved the archery. At night they have live bands followed by live shows. Some nights they have karaoke too. OA side have exclusive bars and restaurants and if you get the excellent club you will have an hour of free aqua therapy. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching Jalela!
Hi! Thank you for this video! I come in July and I’m soooo excited. Can you tell me how long did it take you all to leave the airport? Were there any people in your airport pickup vehicle? I’m nervous that we will have to wait an hour or so for the other flights to unload.
Not a long wait at all. If you reserved directly at their website (not 3rd party website), they will provide a private transfer (which is included in the rate) so it will just be you and whoever you’re traveling with. As soon as you arrive at the airport, just pick up your luggage and go outside to look for the finest representative then he will notify the driver as he takes you outside where you will get picked up. Adults only?
The Finest has both family side and adults only side. The Excellence Club is adult only.
So is this the excellence Punta Cana or is it different? The resort seems small. Can you jump to other places? Other resorts like excellence?
This is the Finest Punta Cana. Finest Punta Cana (opened 2021), Excellence El Carmen (opened 2016), and Excellence Punta Cana (opened 2000, renovated 2017) are all part of the Excellence Collection. They are next to each other. I don’t think you can actually go to the other resorts but you can walk to the beach in front of the 3 resorts. Hope that answered your questions. Our next video (Day 5), we did a beach walking video in front of the 3 resorts but we’re not done editing yet. Soon though.
How was the food at finest ? Do you know if finest or excellence Punta can has better food ?

We cannot speak for Excellence Resort food but for The Finest Resort, some are average but we also have our favorites like the surf and turf at Duke’s Lobster and Seafood for sure, Dommo’s calamari and Surf and Turf, Lunch at Las Dunas Beach House, and my husband like the tuna sashimi at Shoji Japanese. The breakfast at Market Kitchen had many options, my favorite was the beef fajita with green salsa and fried plantains, i thought it was tasty. There are few restaurants we didn’t try like Lizo Mexican and Gusto International and because of my allergy restrictions we also didn’t go to the Italian and French so I can’t speak for those. The Korean Grill was just okay only because we had better Korean BBQs before. Hope that helps.

Is there a area where kids aren’t allowed. Such as a pool and restaurants.
Yes! The pool and restaurants on excellence club are for adults only (left side if you’re facing the beach). You can use the family side pool and restaurants but not the other way around. Thanks for watching!

We’re there a lot of kids at the resort and could you hear them doing their “I’m having fun” screaming?
No, we didn’t hear the screaming. We stayed on the adult side (Excellence Club). The only time we’d see kids was when we’d watch the night shows at the Finest family side.

Yes totally agree! 😊 But there’s also the beach and the beautiful pool and they offer so much activities... so hard to not to take advantage. That’s also the reason why we didn’t do tours outside of the resort.
