- My mission to clean some cars out backfired. I went to Oklahoma City to sell the $500 Porsche 944, after I unloaded it I hit up Randy from Auto Auction Rebuilds to see what he was up to. After ending up at his place we started looking at his projects and this stolen 2014 KTM Duke 690 he picked up from the insurance auction was tempting. I asked him how much he wanted and he said less than he paid for it so I bought it immediately. Now it’s home, so let’s get this bike sorted out and make it look new!

Got the mirrors, spark plug, k&n air filter all in.
Just get s stock air filter. KN doesn't do shit unless you tune, and most of the time they're more restrictive.
Take notes how he does his content. Way more interesting less jabbering nonsense.

@@damo1013 not saying randy is a bad dude, but his content is a bunch of nonsense sometimes, and if you try and criticize him or give him advice or pointers, he will start talking shit to you, calling you names and cussing you out, and then block you. I literally stopped watching after he went off on some subscribers for absolutely no known reason. The subscribers weren't even being disrespectful but he was for sure

@@projman2155 Randy bought it that way from a insurance auction he was going to use it as a learner bike so he could learn how to ride a bike but he bought a harley learner bike instead from a dealership

When I started adjusting it was way off the marks, I'll have to measure. 🍻

I cut all the. commentary but yeah... you basically have to dump oil all over the entire exhaust. Very uncool KTM. 🤔
@@WatchJRGo Aside from the Dart, this is what stood out to me the most during the video. But I guess it just allows for easy clean up. You cant have pooling and extended drip and sludge build up if any excess runoff is burnt off by the exhaust.

I like little projects my self. I just bought a old Ranger 400$ needed alot of little stuff i fixed it all in a few days cleaned it up big time buffed the paint and tinted the windows been driving around think ill keep it
That shop drive way entrance has lots of skid marks and donuts. I too was like didn't Randy just get one KTM lol.

great to see the shops starting to fill up with busy bodies. just a suggestion, doggie pee pads are great to put under the bikes and car engine bays for the degreasing they grab up 99% of the mess, a lil pricy if not bought in bulk, but so is a visit from the ferderalys . stay safe and take care everyone

Rode a few of these overseas and they are a blast, and bot a Buell Blast. Wish I was closer that you could use my motorcycle lift. Had a friend that would always ask me of I needed a light when removing a motorcycle gas tank.

You should use the Harpic method on the stainless exhaust. It does wonders for crud like this. Makes the bike look like new again.
Dude, tell us about that beautiful Dart. That's the prettiest one I ever did see, and I have seen many. I was old enough to appreciate cars when Dodge introduced the Darts. Our town had the 4 door version as police cars.
They have a detail shop there now, probably just a customers car.
