Great project, just a word to the wise get rid of that prestolite ignition system. They had so many problems to list, that is why in 1978 Jeep went to the motorcraft ignition system. I know you are a long way off from the ignition system but you can start looking now

It's a bussbar fom a breaker box for your ground wires it easer way to ground.

The body swap is a no brainer. Obviously the tu-tone purple/yellow musquito eater is the better unit. Can you simply swap the front end and number serial tag to the donor, and make the titled buggy the new donor? Engine trans tcase and axle(s) on to the second body and frame? Saw the chicken in the background running.... probably thought you were gonna ask it to help..
