you could have but were too busy listening to Radiohead as if they were the second coming,, and Kid A was a masterpiece they invented don't wanna hear it ok
ϟ L-Ov-Ǝ TЯ23丰 Back in no time... until then, will miss my brother Sleazy & sister Gen. Rest In Power. Gen & Jaye, Peter & Jhonn together again (Re-United.)
I was lucky enough to seen them, at the Culver City California gig, it was mind bending, and, we got to shoot the shit with them afterwards, highlight of my 80s
TG isn't sonically special, humans always use mechanical soounds, distortion, noises etc for different effects. They just made those type of sound even more mainstream.
Some parts of this remind me of some of the weird background music from the 1974 Land of the Lost show. I guess it was the type of synthesizers they were using in the '70s.
Is that a person or band? It is true there were quite a few predecessors in experimental music but none with imagery and aggression of TG. Not to my knowledge anyway...Edgar Winter's famous Synth solo in '73 comes close though. 💀🎧
@@jas31937 Experimental music goes back to the early 1900s. AMM was a group of musicians that made free improvisation, they disbanded last year. Their work has been tagged as early or proto-industrial. Genesis P-Orridge herself used to listen to their albums before forming Throbbing Gristle and they were a massive influence. Keith Rowe's guitar playing even inspired Syd Barrett.
The cleanest best audio quality, I'll want to hear this again and again.
really wish I could have seen them live before they passed on. Rest In Power, Genesis Breyer P.orridge.

Why does the info state Germany as the country?
IGNORANCE
Albrecht/d is German and this was released through his label.
