I have compared my S.G. Whisper and R.I.D. one-step deployers to my Core Class figures, and I don't see how they could work at that size. I could see them more as Micro Master multi-packs than one off figures to be recolored.
Once Transformers One does exactly that, people will hate themselves for not realizing that there were in fact good Transformers shows in the past (TFA, TFP, G1, etc.)!
I liked the core class figures because they gave us both a good size for smaller characters and a good size to have next to titan alt modes. They also worked nicely for characters who shrunk in alt mode like Soundwave. I wish they would do Blaster and Perceptor for that last reason.
I’ve said this so many times but I just want Transformers One to bring in new fans and those who missed out on the cartoons and only watched the movies will check out Animated, Prime and G1 etc. I just want what the movie wants to execute be executed well!
10:16 As another OG Generation One fan if youd asked me a couple years ago i would have said outside of Transformers Prime G1 is the only Transformers ......... but after Rise of the Beats ive fully changed my mind even on Beast Wars which i used to mock the most but after picking up the new transmetal Megatron for a song im fully on board with Beast Wars .
Also apparently according to Jtprime17 on TFW2005 regarding the new TF show coming after Earthspark… “I will say the new show does have an interesting cast so far for the deceptions. Haven't seen anything toy wise for the usual go to traditional cast for them. No Starscream, Soundwave or even Megatron yet. I don't want to spoil anything major, so I'll just leave it at that.” So we might get something interesting in this new TF show. Me personally I’m betting on either Bludgeon or Shockwave (mostly Blugdeon) as being the main antagonist since we aren’t getting Megatron apparently. At least, I hope so. Edit: the new TF show will also have something to do with the thirteen primes in some way.
A part of me is really hoping for it to be a sequel series for TfOne, similar to the TMNT show that came out recently and how that’s a sequel series to Mutant Mayhem.
It really, really sucks that ES is canceled after S2 cuz its genuinely an awesome show! I wish we can get 4 seasons...! But, at least whats after ES sounds interesting...😮💨

And man I'll miss core class, Really disappoints me to see this line going bye bye next year, but fingers crossed we may get Scout Class back. Megatron being a miner, gladiator or both were introduced in later comics and aligned continuity. G1’s origins of Megatron kept getting retconned season by season.
You are incorrect. Megatron being a gladiator from Tarn was told in the G1 UK story, State Games. Why he started the war was told in Marvel US issue 1. The cartoon only showed him being created and starting the war and confirmed his goals. The miner story was an IDW thing that got integrated into the Aligned Continuity.
@@RodimusPrimal I was referring to the G1 cartoon and not the G1 Marvel [and UK] comics, which were in their own separate continuity from the ‘80s cartoon!
Plus, I’m not “incorrect”. Megatron wasn’t a miner nor a gladiator in the G1 cartoon, his origins kept changing. I don’t care about the UK comics (I’m American). I wasn’t even born when the G1 US, UK, G2 Marvel comics were out btw!
Core class started strong and then lost quality over time as they put in less effort into the figures. Went from fully posable pocket-sized fun to a glorified flip action toy, all while claiming the same price point. They're getting rid of it because they're finding it harder to find new ways to rip us off. Earthspark would sell more toys if they actually made more quality toys instead of putting so much money into finger puppets and gimmicks that don't even happen in the show. Let alone the characters that don't even have proper toys. Where's hashtag and arcee? They put so much effort into their designs only to squander their potential. Transformers one, I want to be longer than a 90-minute movie. Either way, though, we need to remove Lorenzo. GIJoe cross-over is such a stupid idea, especially now. It's like, "Yeah, we fucked up the sequel to bbm and made a shitty movie that made less sense while committing almost all of the sins of the bayverse films combined, how can we rectify this? I know, let's cross over again into the failure of a franchise that is constantly shitty and is just military pandering. Nothing could possibly go wrong." We as a Fandom need to forcibly overthrow whoever in hasbro who is in charge of these shitty ideas.
We will never get anything as good as Prime, Beast Wars, Animated or G1. Earthspark is toooo kiddy even watching with my nephew. He lost interest in minutes. The toys look like dollar store throwaways (except that Owl, I can't remember the name) I have hope for Transformers One. I have a feeling the teasers aren't really showing what the movie is about
Core class; that’s too bad it may be cancelled. I was hoping to collect the bots that were reformatted to re-create that Unicron scene. Now, I will have to buy bootlegs in that scale. TF One; not happy with it, especially coming out on my Bday. I think i will still go & watch it (Im a glutton for punishment). Definitely not happy with the whole buddy biddy thing. “They” could’ve made the movie to be longer. Derek Connolly; i am loving that “we” Gen X will finally get a Transformers GI Joe movie. I am positive about the movie because he is Gen X as well, & most likely IS a fan. Chris Hemsworth; TF One… it is what it is. I really hope that they don’t make the choice of Optimus Prime an Aussy. Overall; i glad that “they” are trying to get younger fans into the TF lore. Im optimistic about it. Keep up the OUT-FUCKN-STANDING work @RodimusPrimal
I never bought core. Other than wheelie and rattrap. Why buy a ratchet that is smaller than a deluxe. Prices and inflation keep me from buying anything right now. Unfortunately. I hope wheeljack gets a well deserved make over in gijoe crossover
Sinse anime is the new GIG ( the popular thing ) the transformers and g.ioe movie in production i think its a transformers and g.ioe anime like the unicron trilogy with ithe original concept for transformers prime resycled as a base
Iguanas was a really good figure and Bomb-Burst was absolutely fantastic. Also the Minicons would be perfect for core class figures. Pretenders and Minicons are the way to go
Earthspark failed as the toyline was pretty low quality & the clumsy inclusion of pro-nouns in the show got them bad press. Shame as the show is great but I think a more Transformers-centric experience would be desirable (less humans; more Transformers). Very hard to hit a demographic now for toys unless there's some social media incentive linked for kids, considering kids are none too interested in the toylines. Maybe something more aimed at collectors & adults is the way to go?
Ugh. Look, im not saying change is always inherently bad, i mean Megs originas goong from machine built to destroy to social revolutionary uplifting the oppressed was a change in and of itself...but Transformers Ones tone just doesnt set well with either iteration of the character. I feel like its being played fir comedy on the same level as like a Guardians of the Galaxy type genre and that just doesnt befit the framchise IMO.v
Man, I hope Core Class isn't dead (it probably is) because I was hoping to get the coneheads, lambros, and rest of the cassettes, like Slugfest and Overkill, mainly Ramhorn. I don't want to have to buy a pack like ANOTHER soundwave with one of those, etc. It's cheap tricks by Hasbro. Earthspark is the proof you need better writing to sell toys. I don't want another show to replace it, they need to wait 10 years and then come out with a brand new Cast, factions, etc. TF One... I never minded the Gladiator origin of Megatron, but I do prefer the G1 version where he's just Built and wants to conquer at some point. Being bunk mates in a mining operation, kinda different, might be good. We'll see. My wife is more curious about the movie than me. Thanks for sharing.
Idk what you're on. There was never too much focus on humans at all, only the Malto family (including Terrans, obviously), mainly. And Optimus and Megs being on the same side is actually interesting and cool. The way they handled it was good. ES is genuinely an amazing show. I want 4 seasons!
Very disappointed with the direction Hasbro is moving if canceling Core Class. IMO, they should have continued where they've had most success with developing the G1 charachters from season 1. Seekers, especially Starscream before re-releasing his figure towards the end of 2023 he was going on the secondary market for upto $40. If they would have done next the Insecticons, Constructicons, Lambo/Datsun Bros it would have garnished Hasbro with positive returns.
I will miss core class.Lets just hope that's a name change and that Suze lins still exists. I remember it being legends class and even before that it had another name. The pretenders were rge worst transformers line ever.i wish they would stop selling movie figures they hardly ever sell and collect dust on the store shelves.
JTPrime17 has been 90-100% accurate on his info. Pretenders were all over the place; core class, deluxe class, and voyager class. That isn’t a very bright move. As for Earthspark and the new movie; these new folks doing those don’t get Transformers, their fan base, the origins, and what made them so damn popular. When it aired in 1984, I was 10, and then when the movie came in 86, Transformers were badass. It was fresh, new, out of this world in the time it came out. The G1 cartoons were made by hand creators. No cgi gimmicks and rubbish. It had its flaws, but their flaws are legendary now. The thing that made them so popular, is kids didn’t feel like babies. The cartoons depicted real issues, but in a none babyish approach. When you are a teen, you want to grow old fast, be treated like an adult, even if they’re not there yet. That’s the thing. I remember at 10 and as a teen, I wanted to see and do big grown up things. Hasbro wants a new fanbase, well Earthspark and TFs One aim a 2-5 y.o. audience. The new creators should take a page from the creators of the new X-Men ‘97. The cartoon is eye candy, respect the source material, and deals with complex and real life issues. Not a fan of crossovers. Fan of both TFs and Joes, just not together.
Once I see Robbie and Moe combine at their cyber suits, and more of the cyber combining gimmick in the show, then I’ll decide whether I want to stop watching EarthSpark or not. As of this moment, I have finished the first third of the season.
I basically purchased SS86 Perceptor for 10 bucks in a 2 pack from Walmart. So if new tapes are released with Perceptor, then I have no problem purchasing him again.
Rodimus, I know this is really random, especially on a Transformers video, but I just wanna ask, cuz I know that you like Supes. Have you checked out My Adventures with Superman and do you like it? I really like it alot! Its a really good show with awesome characters. I like both seasons so far. I love the Clark/Lois/Jimmy trio. The story/plot and how everythings playing out in general is really good, interesting, and well-done. The villains/antagonists are really interesting and cool.
I'll say I do feel pretty bad for the Core Class line. I've been enjoying them a lot and was looking forward to collecting all 6 Core Class Dinobots and complete the Volcanicus Combiner, and now I'm getting a little worried that I won't now unless I shop on Ebay. At least I already have Sludge and Slug right now, but even so, I do find the Core Class size a lot of fun. Now on the other hand, I'm actually quite curious about Derek Connolly working on Transformers! However, if he doesn't attempt to at least include a reference to Jurassic and Pokémon, then I'm going to be a little disappointed! LOL
I cherry-pick from random lines, so not a big deal. I need feedback though - be honest, has anyone gotten any of the 3rd party manufactured “Deformers” (knock off Transformers ofc lol) off of Alibaba 👀. If so, how were they quality wise?!
As much as the fandom loves Peter Cullen…. He’s not live forever…. He not gunna voice Prime forever, he’s gunna have to be permanently replaced eventually, Chris Hemsworth might be the Optimus for the next 40 years of the franchise.
The problem I have with core class is that it's been misused. I don't know who out there was asking for a core class Optimus or Galvatron. On the other hand, Rattrap looks fantastic alongside the other BW figures because he should be shorter. And I actually love the Dinobots because their combined Volcanicus is about the size of a leader class, full scale combiners can be overbearing on shelf space so core class works really nicely. They just have to be smarter about what they put at that scale, reserve it for character who should be small or combiner sets. I'm actually really excited for Steeljaw and I'm hoping they put out more cassettes.
The problem with Core Class was the price was too high for how small the depending on the character low quality the figure is. Core class should have exclusively been small transformer and characters that can be accessories for bigger characters. Like the cassettes, minicons and transformers who are almost human sized. Not characters that should be commander scale, like energon Megatron. Could have gotten a few redone minicon combiners too if they were consistent. Like the minicon star saber sword, the shield and the og combiner minicon Perceptor.
Considering some of the ruthless scalping of Core Class might be a good thing ......... wanted Terrorcon Freezer and Novakane to round out my Studio Series Return of the Beast collection . Nearly fainted
If core class is done with, then Hasbro is making a mistake. If they had released all of G1, it would sell better than any other line that came after. I have to disagree with you, the new stuff is not grabbing the newer generation of ppl as well as it was intended. It is in fact the original TF's that are captivating the newer generation of fans. When anything G1 is put on the store shelves in comparison to all the Generation TF lines that came after, G1 still sells out quicker than anything else! Now we all know in regard to toy production, G1 line is produced in the factories less than any of the newer lines. The fact remains, G1 still sells better than anything else out there! I have no doubt if the production of G1 was increased significantly, it would still sell out better than anything else!
Ideal for core class is if they want to release main characters in small scale then make it like they did before with Prime. They had the legends class then commander class for the bigger figures. So Prime and Megatron were commander class while the likes of Arcee and Ratchet were legends. It worked.

Core class mistake is thinking they could compete with 3rd party legends companies instead of using the core class properly for all of the smaller figures that we have had throughout the history of transformers
Earthspark was good fiction, but toys were too much gimmick. I get it. Gimmicks apply to fiction, but would it pull their spark to stop selling finicky gimmicks and give CHUG or at least stop reusing cyberverse toys?
I honestly don't really care if Megatron/D16's origin is changed or whatever, as long as its overall, generally a good origin that makes alot of sense and also pays plenty of respect to other origins, such as G1 and TFP, which is the better of the 2. I hope D-16's origin is similar and takes some ideas/inspiration from his TFP origin, but not copy it verbatim and still is really quite unique and different. Also, I am really, REALLY hyped for TF: One! It looks so unbelievably fun, good, has alot of potential, and awesome! It has potential to be the BEST TF movie alongside TTFTM, TFP: PR, BB, and ROTB! And, it looks so beautiful! Also, Core Class should NOT end! Its awesome! Despite not having any atm, I do want some! Core Class is really good, theres absolutely nothing wrong with it whatsoever. Its a great little price/size class for fun little versions of our favorite characters along with characters that actually are small and should be in that size. All they have to do is balance out _who_ to do, _when_ to do them, _how_ to do them, etc. Which, I think, they've been doing quite well recently. I'd love some Core Class Spychangers! Bring on Hot Shot, Mirage, R.E.V., Ironhide, etc! Also, some Core Datsun boys would go so hard! Core Jazz, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, (G1) Mirage, and Hound, too! And other characters would be cool, too! Edit: Also, PLEASE give us a Core Class full-suit Sari Sumdac!!
Additional note that I want to mention: I'm devastated that EarthSpark is (edit: could be) canceled after S2, cuz its a genuinely amazing show that deserves _4 seasons!!_ Ughh, this sucks.....😮💨
My expectations are really low because of the track record of the movies. That being said, they've crossed over a LOT over the years. I can still hope the movie is at least decent.
@@RodimusPrimal Track record of the movies!? But, the last 2 were awesome! So, its something, right!? I genuinely hope that TF3 is good, mainly for the Knightverse's sake, cuz BB and ROTB were awesome.
@@fennekin1750 Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts were better for sure. ROTB kind of fell apart narrative wise in the second half. What bothers me is the statements that they are part of Bayverse, which I don't like. It immediately paints them in a bad light for me. We shall see how this crossover does. Hopefully it is good.
@@RodimusPrimal ROTB didn't really fall apart narratively, tho. It was really good all the way through. BB and ROTB are the best movies out of the 7 live-action ones made. And, I think its just best to ignore everything Lorenzo says cuz all logic says BB and ROTB are a reboot. Shockwave would agree. Honestly, I'd LOVE a Transformers anthology animated series that is 100% canon and required to get the whole story, to the Knightverse. Some episodes could be set on Cybertron, while the BB Cybertron scene was taking place. We can have an episode all abt Megatron and him leading an assalut and laying some absolute hate on the Autobot Capitol, hence why Arcee lost contact. (thats my headcanon). A couple of episodes could be set between BB and ROTB. We can have an episode all abt Pablo crashing in Peru and dealing with his new situation. We can see him try, but ultimately fail, to contact the others, including Wheeljack. It'd be awesome and also help promote/advertise the Studio Series Concept figures (as a bonus). Edit: Or at the very least, an anthology comic series, instead.
I kind of like this reimagining of the transformers prime specific backstory for Megatron/D 16 and Orion packs. They were friends in the extended backstory for that series. I want that one-step Megatron/D-16!
1- It´s a pity about core class, but if they replace it with Minicons, we can still win. 2- I am very excited about TF One! Also, the writers of Morbius will help the writer of Detective Pikachu for the Joes, which sounds like a disaster! 3- We really need a continuity that stays! IDW is the closest we´ve had so far, and it had many flaws. 4- Earthspark had great animators, great ideas, and writers too politically focused. Animation and design can only carry it so far with such a terrible writing.
@@fennekin1750 Back at you. Earthspark had a few good episodes. Tarántulas, for example. It somehow went to hell in every long batch finale. Have you noticed? There is no need for a fight at the end of s1. Villain offed himself, and the kids fixed everything without the help of surviving Twitch. You can skip all the fight scenes in there and achieve the same result. And Spitfire death was so stupid... Aftermath too, but at least he was moron enough to not realize Starscream was going to kill them both.

In my honest opinion, I think Megatron works best as an irredeemable, "mustache twirling" villain. I'm not a particular fan of making him sympathetic or giving him a redemption arc, not even with the IDW comics. But I'll give Transformers One a chance, as long as they really emphasize D-16's downfall over the course of the trilogy. He should be pushed to the point where, in his mind, only he should rule. Where Megatron genuinely believes his Tyranny is the only solution for Cybertron. It's not supposed to be the correct solution, Megatron mostly needs to be Optimus Prime's foil and biggest obstacle. Maybe something akin to Anakin's downfall, except where some shred of Megatronus survived, nurturing Megatron's pride and hubris, and planting a seed of hatred or suspicion of Orion Pax.

There's room for every variation. There's something like two dozen continuities now.
Just because they *can* explore several different variations doesn't mean they should. These continuities don't exist in a vacuum, there will aways be preferrences and expectations. Some iterations of Megatron (and this is true beyond just Megatron) have resonated with more fans than others have. There could be fans who've never seen a single episode of G1, but still prefers an irredeemably evil Megatron because of shows like Animated or Prime. Modern films, like Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, shows that even modern audiences can enjoy pure evil villains. Besides the Decepticons are sn ensemble cast, which means that they can explore several different avenues of villainy in the same media, if the writers so choose. There are plenty of great examples of this over the 40 years of Transformers media. Favoring one formula doesn't necessarily make it blsnd.
I actually like Megatron being a broken villain who once had a good heart and good intentions, that were later corrupted and destroyed over the centuries of war. He basically completely forgot what he was originally fighting for in the first place, cuz his original intentions have been twisted and destroyed beyond repair. Then, in some iterations, he could backtrack, reflect, and work on himself for the better (e.g. IDW1 (from what I've heard), EarthSpark), but thats not, like, the "be all, end all" of how his story should go in every universe/iteration. I like to be able to understand his downfall, how it makes sense. I don't want every version of the character to just be a "hahaha, I'm evil! I'll take over the world!" Saturday-morning type villain. I also like Megs and Orion/Optimus being once best friends, who later drifted apart due to disagreements, etc. Then both of them become the respective leaders of the Autobots and Decepticons we all know and love. Thats why TFP has one of, if not my favorite version of the Orion/Megatron origin. And, thats one of the many reasons I'm very hyped for TF: One. Edit: Thats also a way to make Megatron pure evil, irredeemable but with a reason; like, it makes sense on _how_ he came to be the way he is.
@@fennekin1750 Making him understandable is fine, but I don't like it when they go past that to the point of Megs being a sympathetic "misunderstood Villain" trope, or borderline anti-hero. Making him go down a redemption arc, where he eventually regrets his actions doesn't work for me either, because that feels unearned. He spends untold eons being an evil tyrant committing more atrocities rhat any human dictator, and we're supposed to sympathize and forgive him because he suddenly, out-of-the-blue, regrets his actions and seeks reconciliation? Which is why I don't like Earthspark Megatron. Redemption arcs can work well, when the characters are written to be redeemable, like Zuko in Avatar the Last Airbender, but Megatron feels more like a Firelord Ozai type of character imo.
@@taqresu5865 Idk that Avatar connection cuz I never watched it and never will; not interested. But, I actually like the idea of Megatron being redeemed, but only in the right circumstances, in the right amount of time, etc. It shouldn't be a swift redemption. Redeeming Megatron wouldn't be an easy feat; it wouldn't be swift. It'd be long, tedious, and genuine. Like, Megatron _genuinely_ wants to change and _genuinely_ regrets every single one of his actions. Also, redeeming him wouldn't be a constant; it would only be reserved for certain stories where it would be most appropriate, and it would only be done sometimes; only on occasion. A good example of where a redemption would feel appropriate would be in Prime's movie. If Prime ever got a proper sequel, Megatron should've got a redemption, but not a full-on one that leaves him completely, pure good by the end. Just one that simply betters him and makes him less evil. EarthSpark was also good with redeeming Megatron, but I think we should've saw that and actually _how_ and _what_ happened/played out. BTW, despite that, I like ES alot. I felt like saying that
Meh, Hasbro shouldn't greenlight any TF movies being made by anyone who doesn't really love TFs. These Hollywood types "love" TFs so much that they summarily change it. TFINO.
Just took a look at the Japanese numbering system again for clarification. They numbered the Transformers toys by release in general. The first 15 were the Autobots (Cybertrons) with 01 being Optimus Prime (Convoy). The Decepticons numbers start at 16 being Megatron. It's a bit confusing.
@@RodimusPrimal I'm an extremist G1 cartoon fan so... I prefer the G1 cartoon version where Megatron was probably part of the Cybertronian armed forces. It gives him a more professional military vibe.
As Ensign Valeris once said to Captain Spock. "I intend you to replace me." "I could only succeed you sir." The torch must be passed. We've had some great Primes in the past, we can, for now, only hope that Chris Hemsworth shoulders the burden as well as the rest have. Come September 20th we will see.
I won't mourn earthspark. It wasnt that good even without the controversy. I hope core is replaced with something similar. Plenty of.Micromasters, Mini-Cons, and Cassettes i still want. But it doesn't look like the price is cost effective with modern price hikes. Bunkmates is a very simplified.origin. Yeah, I’m getting sick of Aligned continuity Prime/Megatron origins being everywhere in other media. It makes the war look like a petty grudge fight blown out of proportion. I’m also not too excited about the tone and Illumination-style humor, but if the movie is genuinely good as a film, then I’ll be ok with it. On the topic of core class, maybe slightly upscaled Micromaster characters would’ve worked. They’d make the characters more appealing with enhanced articulation and a slightly better scale. Granted, most of them are borderline E-LIST characters, so who knows if it had worked or not.
In all fairness, you should really think long and hard before saying stuff like that. I grew up watching GI Joe, Transformers, and a few other pieces of media set me on the path of joining the Boy Scouts of America, and made me want to join the US Navy until my medical condition made that an impossibility. Even then, GI Joe served as inspiration for me, and it could do the same for many other people. Inspiring a sense of patriotism, touching on subjects like loyalty and sacrifice.
I don't care abt G.I.Joe much at all, but I do think it'd be better to just have both Joes and Transformers share a universe, but not really crossover-ing much at all. Just a shared universe.
I feel for you buddy If they just take inspiration from Godzilla for example. We have the Monsterverse that has a continuous timeline while toho is doing original stuff with the character. But to be honest I just want toho to continue right where they left off with the heisei Era and have Godzilla Jr becoming the new king of the monsters and have classic showa era characters appear.
Honesty core class was really underused, we could’ve gotten some of Armada’s Minicons!
That could have worked too. Especially considering that they released those Armada figures.
Core class was the right size for good mini-cons, targetmasters, etc.
Excellent idea! I don't know why they didn't do that.
I have compared my S.G. Whisper and R.I.D. one-step deployers to my Core Class figures, and I don't see how they could work at that size. I could see them more as Micro Master multi-packs than one off figures to be recolored.
It is such a Missed Opportunity!
Then they better start making minicons and bring back Micromasters
All I hope for Transformers 1 is just to make a good solid movie that makes new fans come into the franchise.
Same here. Despite my objections to story, that's what I'm hoping for here.

I liked the core class figures because they gave us both a good size for smaller characters and a good size to have next to titan alt modes. They also worked nicely for characters who shrunk in alt mode like Soundwave. I wish they would do Blaster and Perceptor for that last reason.
Rip Core Class

I’ve said this so many times but I just want Transformers One to bring in new fans and those who missed out on the cartoons and only watched the movies will check out Animated, Prime and G1 etc. I just want what the movie wants to execute be executed well!

The toys look like dollar store throwaways (except that Owl, I can't remember the name)
I have hope for Transformers One. I have a feeling the teasers aren't really showing what the movie is about
ES is good, tho. Also, the adorable owlyboi is Nightshade.

Thunderwing is way overdue for a new toy.
Iguanas was a really good figure and Bomb-Burst was absolutely fantastic. Also the Minicons would be perfect for core class figures.
Pretenders and Minicons are the way to go
The cassettes are the only ones I agree with Encore class otherwise it was a useless run
A new video game could go along way.
Hopefully Chris Hemsworth will not playing Optimus Prime instead playing duke because he resemble him

Earth Spark feel off, Meg and Prime in same team feel weird.
I know IDW did that
Earth Spark too focus on the human
Idk what you're on. There was never too much focus on humans at all, only the Malto family (including Terrans, obviously), mainly. And Optimus and Megs being on the same side is actually interesting and cool. The way they handled it was good. ES is genuinely an amazing show. I want 4 seasons!
More than meets the eye
Maybe they're looking at Chris Hemsworth as duke or one of the Joe's instead of the voice of Optimus Prime
Hasbro is really willing to take the Ls at the moment, aren’t they?
Indeed. As a whole there's a lot of damage done to the company as a whole yet the stock has remained the same.
Yeah, it would be nice to do the Core class with new direction, which is ANY direction. Core class was the mess, fun mess but still the mess
My favorite origin story is and probably always will be the transformers Prime origin story
I'm a G Oner guy. I would be cool will be releasing a cartoon series after Transformers One like our 86 movie then season 3.
Since IDWs Megatron Origins and the aligned continuity are my preference I hope the movie does not stray too far from those brutal origins.
It worked.
I love 4" scale figures and the fact we got Transformers in that size that also transform was fantastic. Sucks if it's ending.

Core class mistake is thinking they could compete with 3rd party legends companies instead of using the core class properly for all of the smaller figures that we have had throughout the history of transformers

i like some of the core class stuff. i just think of them as cereal box or happy meal toys.
But, with better quality!
Earthspark was good fiction, but toys were too much gimmick. I get it. Gimmicks apply to fiction, but would it pull their spark to stop selling finicky gimmicks and give CHUG or at least stop reusing cyberverse toys?
I´m still waiting for a core class Submaurader figure
Core class needs to be revitalized.

Hey Rodimus Primal what do you think the movie of Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover movie? It was portrayed in the comics, right?
To be honest my expectations of Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover movie the chances were slim. Thanks Rodimus Primal.
Gi Joe sucks!!!!
Shame that core class might get axed. But maybe Hasbro might replace it with Minicons instead. Learning from their mistakes with Micromasters🤔

HELL NO!
Detective Pikachu was awesome! Morbs was........ok. And ES had good writing. Don't lie to yourself

I felt like saying that
Great video.
Meh, Hasbro shouldn't greenlight any TF movies being made by anyone who doesn't really love TFs.
These Hollywood types "love" TFs so much that they summarily change it.
TFINO.
the heck you on abt!?
@@fennekin1750 ikr Megatron's origin has been changed so many times its hard to count, there's no reason to complain when some does

Now, if SDCC can make a plush Devastator, I'll be a happy fan.
Hello Rodimus
Which transformers were DO one through D 15? Possibly the 15 original Decepticon leaders?
Just the other Decepticons released in Japan.
@@RodimusPrimal I was wondering, what the characters who had those original 16 Destron codes in the toys?
Just took a look at the Japanese numbering system again for clarification. They numbered the Transformers toys by release in general. The first 15 were the Autobots (Cybertrons) with 01 being Optimus Prime (Convoy). The Decepticons numbers start at 16 being Megatron. It's a bit confusing.
@@RodimusPrimal yeah. So, D 17 would be Starscream. That also explains the C01 on the missing link figure.

"Point Break as Orion Pax/Optimus Prime!"
I've never liked the origin story of Megatron being a gladiator, I don't like most of the G1 comics lore.
Thing is, it's been a part of his origins ever since, from IDW to Aligned. So what do you prefer?
@@RodimusPrimal I'm an extremist G1 cartoon fan so... I prefer the G1 cartoon version where Megatron was probably part of the Cybertronian armed forces. It gives him a more professional military vibe.
I like him being a gladiator. I like TFP's origin the most. Its better than G1's. It makes more sense.
Peter Cullen can't be replaced. To enjoy the franchise moving forward we may need to Transform .
As Ensign Valeris once said to Captain Spock.
"I intend you to replace me." "I could only succeed you sir."
The torch must be passed.
The Gladiator and the Librarian joining together to overthrow an authoritarian caste system has so much more depth.
That Sludge plush is adorable and amust have.
EarthSpark _was_ good, tho. The heck you on abt?
@fennekin1750 Not really. Too experimental, lacks the core elements of the brand.
@@slicerneons3300 Idk what you're on abt. It wasn't too experimental and it _didn't_ lack the core elements of the brand. Stop lying to yourself and coping.
@fennekin1750 There is nothing for me to cope over, and I am not a liar.
Terrans were a very experimental new concrpt, with mixed results.
@@slicerneons3300 Experimental, maybe. But, successful? Yes, 100% yes. The Terrans are awesome. Love every single one. Twitch is too cute, Nightshade is best boi, Hashtag is adorable, Jawbreaker is great, Thrash is awesome, and Aftermath is good; he fun. I like his dad, too. (only watched first couple eps (of S2), fyi; don't wanna rush)
GI Joe sucks and there should NEVER be a crossover!
GI Joe technically been in the same universe as Transformers since its inception. Even the toys owe GI Joe for their creation.
@@BlueLightning12 I really don't give a "F" about your opinion! My opinion still stands because it's MINE!
@@RodimusPrimal Think I care? I am entitled to my opinion and you shouldn't go about trying to change it.
I don't care abt G.I.Joe much at all, but I do think it'd be better to just have both Joes and Transformers share a universe, but not really crossover-ing much at all. Just a shared universe.
I feel for you buddy
If they just take inspiration from Godzilla for example. We have the Monsterverse that has a continuous timeline while toho is doing original stuff with the character.
But to be honest I just want toho to continue right where they left off with the heisei Era and have Godzilla Jr becoming the new king of the monsters and have classic showa era characters appear.
I think we all have high hopes for Transformers One.
Core class was a bad idea to begin with. We should have have got the rts AFFORDABLE not wallet breaker prices. I want to make them cake toppers.
I'm Still Can't wait for Transformers one Movie. RIP Core Class
