Smith be the type of person to always be someone that goes out of his way to either rub someone the wrong way and/or disrespect people through constant negative talk to put other people down in some type of manner...it starts out on the show with him dissecting the attire of his fellow panel members... he's just in on everyone's wrong side and it has nothing to do with him being a truth-teller or objective in situations or even bringing out facts about sports-topics and/or the business of sports.... On top of that, going out of your way to just talk unadulterated foolishness and over-talk foolish points that are unnecessary...then when they have a guest on 'First Take' or an expert in football and basketball, Stephen A. Smith spends the majority of the time running his mouth....You have Shannon Sharpe, Kendrick Perkins, Tim Legler, and other former pro football and basketball players on 'First Take' and Smith spends all that time running laps with his mouth...we just heard what he had to say in the previous segments and he keeps going and going and going -- this is what makes people hate watching the show and makes Smith a character that is not to be even remotely taken seriously under any circumstance when it comes to commentary and sports commentary.....I just wonder what type of psychosis a person has to have in order to do that to themselves?...I mean a guy must really hate himself to do that...seriously, who does that to themselves?
