Homemade cookies from a professional chef would be a great gift. A tip is a gift, not an entitlement. I've never once tipped a newspaper delivery man.
Somehow in the US tips are obligatory
I've lived in the US my whole life and I've never heard of anybody tipping mail people or building supers. It's usually only reserved for the restaurant industry.@@kziad1
It's quite ironic, because the ingredients they used to bake the cookies probably cost them quite a bit in itself LOL!!
Not necessarily. they could have had these ingredients for quite some time at home: flour, sugar, eggs, butter, some kind of chocolate or something - this is usually kept at home for a long time, so they could have bought it much earlier and just stored it. So they haven't spent anything now that they're broke. You always have flour, butter, eggs, or sugar at home, especially someone like Monica who likes to cook.
I would respectfully disagree - even if the flour, eggs, and sugar were bought earlier, they still have a monetary value - they were bought for some price. Furthermore, the eggs are like fresh (week or 2 old) and the flour and sugar couldn’t have been bought more than 2 months prior because they don’t last more than that in a household like Monica’s. So none of the ingredients are that old.
@@vihaanchoudhary66 Of course, you could be right but my point is my version is possible. Eggs in the fridge can stay there for a few weeks, and the rest - I didn't even think 2 months, that's a long time, few weeks is enough. Because Monica said they are broke now, so it is exactly what I'm saying: if they bought these ingredients only 2-3 weeks before, even 4 weeks so one month, everything is possible.
@@russelconor8704 I agree, your version could be possible as well. But don't you think that if they're broke, they should try to conserve resources (food) and not give away so many cookies lmao...
Groceries at that time didn't cost as much as they do today.
US tipping culture smh 🙄
I actually think the American people are pathetic for going along with it. Even though they know it's bad for the workers and the cosumers. The only people the tipping culture benefits are the business managers.
Time the American people grew some courage, stopped caring about being viewed as "cheap" and rejected the tipping culture entirely. Demand that workers are paid a fair minimum wage and prevent yourselves from having to make up the difference when they are not.
Phoebe/Lisa looks so beautiful !!! 😍I remember the first time I watched this episode, such a long time ago, I loved her sweater in this scene and wanted one so badly!! I still want it!! 🤩
What do you like about it?
@@MegaSpideyman Everything: dark navy blue color - my favorite color that matches my eyes and I always look great in it, floral pattern on the side, the cut.
I love vintage clothes in general, especially if they are beautiful, and this sweater for sure is! I tried to search for it online but I can't find it. And I actually found a few pages/Instagram accounts with Friends fashion and particular clothes that appeared in the episodes with the info that helps you to buy it! But unfortunately not this one. If someone knows what is the name/name of the brand of this particular sweater, please let me know, I'd be very grateful!
@frankensteinz2105 who said 20 years?😂 I'm not that old!! yes, I watched this for the first time a long time ago, but NOT THAT long ago. I'm a millennial. I first watched Friends when I was an early teenager, maybe 13 years old, and I already liked it, then I rewatch the show when I was older. And it is simply hard to find some of the stuff from the early 90s - I was a very little kid in the early 90s.
That newspaper guy was so ungrateful ngl
If I received a cookie from any of these girls, I would be more than happy 😍😛😋😜🤓.
ur so weird
Newspaper dude is a fool. I'd love to get some delicious cookies from Monica. 😋
Haha, that's something that I'd actually do. Cookies say much more than money every could!
0:30 Hash brownies
Here in Australia it is something of a tradition to leave your rubbish collectors (garbologists) a few beers with your bin in the last collection before Christmas Day.
She should made the "little drops from f*cking heaven" candy instead of cookies. NOBODY COMPLAIN :)))
0:30 Just some regular brownies with pot
You can always tip with cookies if you are broke
I would wish have a tip like that🥺
Didn't know people tip the newspaper boy for Christmas..? Me and my siblings were ripped off.
Why would they need to tip all those random ass people ?? Is that normal in america?
It's becoming increasingly normal. The people need to fight back and not give in to the tipping culture, which is essence is just corporate greed and an excuse to pay workers less.
Yeah.... But Ross faces similar issues, when he moves across and has to tip a person that is retiring, while he has never taken his service.
Cookie for you , have a good day
Thank you ☺️❤️🍪
@@Hungariangirl thanks for reminding me about this comment after 6 months .
Courtney 😍
I know it’s supposed to be a joke but I’d watch a musical entitled bite me
They were broke yet they threw a party
So what is the recipe for these cookies it’s not the toll house was it
Exactly what I was wondering
But I have a great 👍 and a bunch more than the Other one 😅I was just not Sure 😊 I have a good time 🤠 I think
As usual my girl Phoebe looks absolutely beautiful in this clip 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊 Phoebe always has the best wardrobe and style out of everybody on the whole show
