I have no idea what you charge for those fairy houses, but I'm not sure how you put a value on the decades of experience, the investment in supplies, the time and effort put in to preparing the clay, the pure muscle memory, creativity, and the attention to detail. To make a fairy house half as nice would probably take me 8-10 hours and likely more when factoring in the whoopsies. Outstanding work! Hope your knee is feeling better.
Enjoyed your tutorials very much! Keep them coming, those fairies need a place to live! 😀 I was sitting in my studio yesterday, looking at all the cacti and got an idea inspired by your videos. If all works out the way I think I will let you know! Greetings from Bonaire.
Thank you for showing us your easy to make flowers!!! I have been building fairy houses for my grandchildren for Christmas, so now I have a few more options to add to my houses!! Thank you... absolutely love your channel!
Really like how you made your roses. Would love to work with potery clay. Don't have a kiln. I do make little things with air dry and oven bake clay. So relaxing
Clay is very therapeutic. I fire for a lot of people who don't have a kiln. You could look around in your community to see if anyone is willing to rent you some space in theirs if you ever want to try stoneware clay. Good luck to you, and thanks for watching.
I love your work it is brilliant. I was wondering, do you have any video of you colouring your fairy house or flowers. It is good to see them when they come out of the kiln but it would be great to see that final decoration.
I do have one glazing video showing how I glaze complicated things. It's the way I glaze fairy houses too. Thank you for loving the videos. ❤️ ua-cam.com/video/VuHO1bQEQwI/v-deo.htmlsi=_PKY9WU_YATgZ9qO
I love the fairy house! Please show some of your other styles. If I may be so bold as to offer a hint, an inexpensive microphone would help a lot. In some spots, when you move away from the phone, it is hard to hear you. I took your witch and ghost videos and tried my first ghost. I didn't record the making, but I threw a closed form and morphed it. I'm hoping the porcelain will be thin enough to be translucent, but this is the first time I've worked with Laguna Frost, so we'll see. I'll record and post the next one! Thanks for all the tips!
Lol, my microphone can yesterday. I have a new tablet too, so hopefully I can make better videos. Thrilled you're enjoying the videos and I will be doing another video on fairy houses.
Am interested in pottery. Can u talk about kiln and coloring. I want a small scale kiln for my garden fairy houses. Is it feasible? Am enjoying yr work. ❤❤❤❤❤
I small kiln would be great for fairly houses. I plan a video for glazing and maybe talk about kilns too. There is a Clayscapes UA-cam video by Drew where he goes over kilns, and hence knows his stuff. Maybe check him out.
Hi.. Love your video !! You said to slow dry the fairy house together with the base.....do you bisque them together or do you separate the house from the base for bisque fire?
@@hobblecreekpottery hi I’m sorry when I wrote that comment I thought it was your latest video ,as I had just started watching you I will go back and watch it
I have been loving watching your videos. I would love to see an easier fairy house too.
@@bridgetrussell8330 There's a video on them!

I bisque them together, too, then glaze separately.
@@hobblecreekpottery Thanks so much. Now to glaze…always a challenge for me.
@Pat Galletti Same! Sooo much time glazing these types of things.
@@hobblecreekpottery Hope you are doing better after your surgery, and you will be back soon . I always look forward to your tutorials!
@@patgalletti6221 I'm really trying to get back to filming them. This last surgery has kicked my butt.

Do you have a link for the morning glory tool?
I found it on The Ceramic Shop. It's a handy tool to have in the studio. www.theceramicshop.com/product/1074/hole-smoother-wood-4-inch/
