I’m the same way. Could never successfully bulk. Most weight I’ve gained in a year was 20 pounds eating junk food all the time and 1/4 of Lactaid every morning. Made it from 140 to 160. Started eating meat and made it to 176 (5’7”), my heaviest weight at around 9% body fat. Loved the way that looked. Hated the meat and dairy thing though, so I stopped. Age seems to be helping. I toggle around 170 now at age 38.

I can see how people say it’s hard to stay lean and build even more muscle. It’s not though. You have to have a good base. If you starting off relatively lean you’re better off. Drink your water, get your cardio in, eat what you need(protein carbs and fats), eat what you want (sometimes), and lift heavy weights. That’s how you stay lean while still building more muscle.

What's up Mike, I am 5'10 and I weigh 226 pounds. I was about 250-ish at the beginning of this year. I changed my diet this year, my intake portion and worked out here and there throughout the year. I want to get some help in my work out training to do before I go to work in the mornings, or something I can do at night because I'm literally full of energy and my mind races in the middle of the night. My goal is to get down to 195-205, and I wanna get back into playing basketball. Thanks for the videos!
