But like... isn't that output jack also a strap button? Why not just expand and use the existing strap button hole? You can even get those kinds of jacks in gold to match the hardware.

I still have a DeArmond 210 sound hole pickup from the 50's. That's less problematic to install and I always thought it was a pain.

What is the diameter of the JTE soundhole? Do you think shaving the clip would work on a Gretsch Jim Dandy?

I have this same pick up....Its a real pain to fit into a Martin 0 or 000.
