      Umh, not to ruin it for you, tropical lobsters as this grow faster as they live in warm water causing the meat to be less sweet compared to boston or maine lobster that are predominantly live in the cold water. Another key note also, their claws are thin like sticks vs boston or maine lobster where the claws are my favorite part. I would say however the cooking and the spices in Thai or Asian cuisine def makes up for the less savory lobster meat. As far as taste, as subjective that gets, your lobsters here in North America is what you want. Also, p.s. I'm from the tropics and grew up having the tropical lobsters.

      She is not, stupid tourists get ripped off very often in thailand, that lobster should not cost more than $17 in Thailand,
      Stupid tourists don't like haggling prices because it's "uncomfortable" for them because it's not common in their culture, so they pay like morons, a person's weekly income in Thailand, for a freaking lobster...
      Imagine someone came to you, and paid you your weekly income for a lobster... would you think he is retarded? that is how retarded tourists who pay the full price look like to the locals.

    All those lobsters are dead? The first thing I learned is not to cook/eat dead lobster. They are only good for up to two hours after they die.

    • @mylord8162
      @mylord8162 7 років тому +1

      Frozen seafood is ok. They probably have been thawed few hours before being brought out. That's why he dipped in water a couple of times to remove some ice under the shell. They should have steamed it first and then grilled to get even cooking without having to burn the shell and the meat to get the heat through.
