It's not only a ragtangle in the center, but yes. It is realy easy. You only need to do a little decrease and increase "Thing" on the spot where the neck will be
The intention behind my video was to make it simple. You can still achieve the scoopneck without decreasing or increasing. It might look just had different, but it still has the same effect if you do a straight rectangle. 😊
@@stardustgoldcrocheteu sou brasileira. Estou fazendo esse vestido e minha dúvida exatamente no decote. Como conseguir esse efeito. Agora ficou claro para mim. Obrigada
I just made a blanket and shawl from this stitch and it is literally the easiest thing ever to crochet. This would be a fantastic beginner project that Is so much cooler and more rewarding than most beginner projects!
I know right, there is a store who is selling it for $100 + really. I went in on it myself and people are making it so hard to do. If you look at it you can figure it out just like you and I did.... THANKS
@@stardustgoldcrochet yes there is a scooped neck on Taylor’s. The back has about 1 cluster less and the front has even more. I figured it out though, thanks!
Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to write anything to make you feel like my response was mean. I created another video that shows how the scoop next easily translate from rectangles. It’s hard to tell tone from text messages, but I don’t offend easy. 😅 some people want to do the scoop neck and that’s fine if you created using a light weight yarn and just a rectangle you’ll get the same affect.
I feel like so many people online are glancing at the picture and assuming the colors are black, white, lavender and orange. It's actually much nicer looking in the peach, brown, lavender and cream. I despise Swift, so I won't be making this, and resent her for supporting sweatshop labor. Thank you for empowering people to make this for themselves.
@Hayley-marie Dilay I’m not sure why you’d be offended? If you mean the all caps - that was the title of another video. Not a response from me. Sorry about that. I’m not easily offended by anything 😅
You designed it well but. Looks like a swim Suit cover up. Sorry but I think Taylor Swifts design choice is not very attractive especially with that color combo.
You can definitely spend the time doing increases and decreases, but if you’re a newbie and want to try it simple - ua-cam.com/users/shortsE384pbEwdRQ?si=4tjrwD3E1lZYcKcB
She paid for a dress made by slave labor. If anyone has the money to pay for real handmade quality, it’s her. But no, she went the fast fashion slave labor route. Disgusting.
I haven’t copied anyone’s designs. This is a DIY guide for people that want to make this dress themselves. I’ll be doing my own version :). But also, this is a mass produced thing. Is there a “designer” that you know of? Or is it a sweat shop somewhere in China? Chinese companies rip off our crochet designs all the time. It’s really frustrating. It’s happens daily to so many of my crochet designer friends.

Thanks!
This is quite possibly the best and easiest version of this pattern I've seen!❤ Well done!🤩
If you can find this dress for $100 it means someone was paid less than $1 an hour to make it
I agree! I *just* finished a blanket and it took me a month. Mind you, it's huge blanket, but the yarn alone cost over $100 :/. I hate fast fashion.
It came out quickly ! I know folks who have the hots for Taylor Swift!!
Thanks for posting! Gonna try this… praying I pick up enough yarn to finish it!
Wonderful!
Its not just a basic square, there is some shaping done in the neck. I can see the stitch decreases in the picture of the dress
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Thank you so simple
You're welcome!☺️
It's not just a rectangle. There is shaping around the neck.
I have to make it with darker colors
I love you pattern very easy thank you 👍❤❤❤😊
You're welcome! I can't wait to see what everyone makes :D
i am going to make one for my daughter I plan to make the body one piece so i skip a lot of ends to weave in.
I know right, there is a store who is selling it for $100 +

It is insane that you can buy this for 121 dollars. Someone got paid less than 6 an hour to make that
Excellent
Love it❤
YUP 😂
I made grandaughter bucket hat inspired by it
That sounds cute!
I'm glad to find you. Hi, am your new subscriber 😊
Thanks for subbing! 💕💕💕
By constructing it this way will the dress have a scooped neckline? Also what yarn did you use? Thanks so much!
You make some rows shorter in the middle to get the scoop.

@@GigglezZxox It doesn’t need to have decreases. That’s just preference
@@GigglezZxox Definitely, but to keep it simple for newbies, a simple rectangle in a light weight yarn can give the same effect for sure :)

Crochet clothes are so underrated, and it's so absolutely gross that these fast fashion brands just keep ripping off small designers.
What about the neck line?
I made me one with different colors
But how do I make the scooped neckline

Diffently going to try
I think I'm going to make one too in purple!
Possible to make a tutorial please

Ha! Me either, but I am working on a granny stitch dress. I've seen people making it in all kinds of colors really. It's cute, but not THAT cute!

I didn't make it at all, just showing people how. :)
The neck is scoop rather than square on TS’s dress.

Exactly, a 119$ handmade crochet dress cannot be made ethically. I applaud everyone who makes the dress themselves @@stardustgoldcrochet
