@@DanielsFragranceJournal absolutely! I must say, I completely disagree with some things you said, but that is fine. Everybody has a different nose. I'm just happy in general when some hidden gems get reviewed in an honest manner. For me, I never got why people said there is something pissy/civet like. The chrysanthemum gives off more of a menthol/eucalyptic (?) kind of vibe to me. And overall, I think this is super wearable- definitely more than Interlude. I think sometimes we judge too harshly based on sticking our nose into it, when in the air it wouldn't be the same experience.
@@ricolini70 i think it depends on your nose. i m very used to animalic notes/civet/castoreum and i didn't expect to smell that pissy note here, but i did. Maybe it's a difference between UK and OMAN batches of myths? i m not really sure, but too many people got the pissy note from the opening, i guess there's something about that too, but nevertheless, that's not the fragrance, it's just 10% of it. The rest is oriental, smokey, ashy, leathery , which smells wonderfull in the dry down. Sadly many people overlook fragrances like these, and that's why they get discontinued. Thanks for watching
@@DanielsFragranceJournal haha agreed. I would say amouage discontinued it cause they are 😸😸😺😺😺. Who says the fragrance won't take off 10 years later? Idk man it's sus. Look at egoiste...that was a complete flop when it came out and became a steady seller over the years.
@@ricolini70 i guess amouage is copying Tom Ford. discontinuing all the hardcore and artistic releases, then jumping on the sweet mainstream ambroxan bombs. Sadly to say but no niche house actually wows me anymore with new releases... every fragrance that i love it's actually an old releases from some brand. The only new fragrance that Amouage released that actually wow''d me was royal tobacco, but even that got butchered and reformulated after only 1 year. I will do a review of that one this weekend.
@DanielsFragranceJournal I agree. Paying above MSRP is ridiculous. I miss the days where I'd pick up a 50ml of Myths for $80 off of met on a whim. I should have read the signs on the wall and stocked up then 😁
You can get some decants first and see what fits your style. The fragrances i would recommand you from the house would be: bracken, beach hut , royal tobacco, interlude 53, epic man, jubilation 25 man. These are all outstanding quality fragrances
Fabulous review Daniel! Subbed & would love to see you start doing some first impressions 🫶
@@theladycleo thank You very much, i will do so. Right now i have a lot of gems that i want to cover in my reviews. 😊
Great review!
@@cravis123 thanks
It's perfect to wear to art galleries and concerts. Also when walking alone in the park on a winter's day.
i agree
I love myths!
it's definitely a gem

Great review! May I ask where you purchased your bottle?
from a fellow fraghead. I wouldn't buy it from places like ebay where prices are insane
