- Today... we received a set of the brand spanking new Teraflex Olympus Beadlock Wheels for our Gecko Green Jeep Wrangler Rubicon project. These wheels not only look amazing, they also include Teraflex's Nomad automatic tire deflator technology. Crazy... we know.
In this video, the EPIC Ginger will give us a rundown what a beadlock is, how to install one and what to watch out for.

Aswome wheels and the air downs 👍,I have KMC's with 37 pro comp mt2,zero wheel weights rides super smooth,about 95 she starts to vibrat lol,I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for I'd definitely get those wheels 👍

I just got these same wheels. I will start the assembly next week hopefully. What kind of lube are you using on the valves? Still on the fence if I want to keep running tpms sensors
I've got a 2020 JLU-R & I like the rims & tires that you're displaying. Can you tell me the rim dimensions please? I love the way they look on your Jeep. Not sticking out to far. Just right! lol Does the colored dot on the tire go at the same place or different. I know, on my motorcycle it had to line up with the valve stem for balancing purposes so you didn't need a ton of weight for correcting the balance. Thank you
Love y’all’s work! Just a suggestion when filming with an iPhone so the Ginger does not look like he is glowing😊. Try either turning of HDR video in settings or look into the proper HDR workflow using HDR footage in Premiere or whatever editor you are using.

What are the wheels you removed and stacked up there?
I have the same set of wheels but can’t seem to get them balanced. I have a yellow dot and a red dot on each of my tires. I’ve lined up the red dot with the valve stem. Perhaps I need to line it up with the deflator instead. What are your thoughts?
No idea. Ours balanced quite well. It is possible to have a tire that just simply is not going to balance suitably (rare, but possible).

I dont seem to have any issues running 12 psi on my Method 701 bead grip wheels (17/8.5 on a 39/13.50 BFG)
I don't seem to have any issues running 5 psi on my Black Rhino Shredders... but the way I drive... it's only a matter of time lol.

It's not legal here in BC.
they arent illegal to run in the US in any state. they arent DOT approved but there is no law again using them on the street.
Dont put this out there some prius or tesla lover is gonna make into law

Not DOT approved means "its not exactly legal" on any public road... Thats gotta suck. You could always just get a DOT approved Hutchinson wheel and -- you know, be road legal (and have both beads locked, not just the outer one).
not DOT approved has nothing to do with being legal. The DOT cannot write law only congress and state legislatures. There are no laws in the US on the books that make running beadlocks illegal. That might change in the future but today beadlocks are not illegal
Hutchinson are not exactly True Beadlocks because the bead is not being clamped and locked between two parts of metal like the ring does to the wheel with the tire bead between them
Beadlocks are too much work, unbelievable how many people we see with them that don't even utilize them or require them for their mild trail activities
