Look Bob it's perfectly simple. Once you get to Duna, fly down the mine shaft, break into the Hyperloop test track and use the gelignite charges to blow up whatever is blocking the tunnel. Well yes it's a mine shaft of course it's going to be "a bit tight." Yes I know Jeb usually does these sort of missions but I did mention explosives didn't I? And well, let's just say not after last time. Look Bob you'd best get cracking they said something about running out of food or air, or was it that the tunnel was collapsing? Either way...
Hello all, I'm pleased to report we have not one but two new dropships for your Kerballing pleasure. The star of the show is the Hex Mk2, a compact multi-role dropship destined to become my standard go-to craft for interplanetary missions. It features a rotatable central turret housing the engines and docking port. What this means in practice is a vastly reduced amount of drag as the craft can present the smallest possible profile to the air-stream. It also means the craft can use its engines to drive along the ground, dock to fuel depots or load cargo. As you may have seen in the video I've engineered the dropship in a way that the pilot remains static during the transition from vertical to horizontal thrust (see Thunderbird one) thereby minimising control issues.
Also released this month is the Bahamut; an upscaled version of the Wasp cargo dropship. This one does suffer occasional Kraken bites but it's still a hoot to fly and can carry some decently heavy payloads. For anyone that's wondering I've named it after the biblical legend: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahamut
If you'd prefer to digest your information in song form I'd recommend checking out this corker of a track from Hazmat Modine:
• Hazmat Modine Bahamut
I'd also like to give a big shout-out to my long time collaborator Snowy whose KOS skills were invaluable in always. His handiwork can be seen during the sequence where the Hex separates from the Bahamut and lands safely under its own power.

This month it's been a pleasure to feature a corker of a track by Terror/Cactus; a band I fell in love with the moment I heard them. They've cultivated a special and unique sound which is no easy feat these days. I highly recommend you check out their awesome work and catch them playing live once the opportunity presents itself.

I don't own the rights to this recording; this is fan love pure and simple. Oh, and on the subject of music I also want to give a shout out to Jan Ulrich who composed the perfectly awful elevator muzak featured in the intro. Thanks Jan!

Stay calm, stay safe and I'll see you all again next month.
Lots of love.

The way you’re able to manipulate ksp into making buildings and getting the correct camera angles to make them believable is as impress as the crafts themselves.
when you reccomend cupcacke landers to a friend and they think its a baking channel.
@@nuhadhnufail4805 wtf are you talking about? there's no joke that went over anybody's head
Man, in a community like the ksp one which is just shock-filled with creativity and talent I still find your stuff to be unbelievable! Not just the stuff you build but the "camera work" and the music and everything, it's just really cool, great job!
That dual-hull speeder is really the swiss knife of this series... It flies surprisingly well !
I love home there are kerbals everywhere in cupcakes videos. It feels so Alive and the colonies everywhere makes it seem like they heave properly colonised the system!
I recall seeing a tweet the other day that said something about the stock hinges being too unstable to make VTOLs with, and now here we are, with two in one video
Somehow you keeping outdoing yourself, great vid man
Thanks!
You have to be like the most creative KSP youtuber! Cinematics, music, crafts, piloting and the story is 10/10
For those interested - the exact name of the track: "Terror/Cactus - Sapo Enamorado"

I cant even begin to imagine the things you'll create when ksp2 gets released! great work as always!!
It's still 21 hours until the premiere but I already know that the video is going to be top-quality like always!
The selection of music is amazing as always.
8:26 when clipping has finally had enough of your bullshit LMAO
That reminded me of an optional underground mission in the Volcano sector in the A.I.M. game. I hated it as a kid, honestly. :D
Nice job! I like what you did with the subterranean structures, also that flying was quite impressive
I mean HOW ... EVEN REMOTELY ...
HOW to make a TUBE ? how to no collision with walls ? How to underground???
All i can achieve is getting into Orbit and Land on planets...
BUT HOW @cupcakeLanders ?
HOW!
Step one: aquire tweekscale mod
Step two: use it to make a big mk3 cargo Bay or that hollow part thing
Step three: get as good as cupcake Landers at flying :)
This premieres on my birthday! I’m excited!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday dude!
happy late birthday 😬
This channel is so underrated!
Oh god its been so long since i watched one of ur vids. Last time i did, i ended up having cake as my most listened-to band of the year
Once again a Masterpiece, thanks Cup!
Que cumbia tan explosiva!!
7:19 furious launchpad wrestlin today and... P-P-P-PILEDRIVER!
(also the rest of the movie is just awsome and impressive and perfect as usual)
That wind hum sfx sound really familiar...
holy shit. how large were those launch bays to fit that THICC cloud city car?
Amazing stuff
Cheers!
You uploaded this on my birthday lol
Happy birthday! 🥳
Your channel so great I actually click on ads to help you.
Much appreciated, thank you!
youtube's compression really isn't doing anyone any favors
8:16 Kraken! I choose you! Use spin attack!
5:50 Me and the boys
Amazing
That was interesting
Wow this is pretty cool! I have a few questions though:
How did you get the shot where the helper vehicle is driving into the station? Camera tools pathing tool only allows camera to be attached to the piloted vehicle, but it seems to me that you didn't have that problem.
What is the Hyperloop tunnel made of and how did you get the vehicle to run so well in there?
Pretty sure he uses a camera tools mod
1 - I did indeed use camera tools with the relative velocity set to 0 and the camera targeting part of the mine shaft.
2 - Testing and refinement I guess!
nice job like always
Thanks Rex. 😊
rex scates 5 days ago? I’m guessing patreon right?
Muj booohaha yep ofcourse. He does great work and i like to encourage it.
Cupcake Landers can we get a view from the outside so we can see how you assembled the tube.
nice cumbiaaa. eeeeaaaa
What parts made up the tunnel? I wasn't aware of any stock hollow cylinders that short.
It’s made of structural tube.
@@CupcakesLanders Structural tube? Is that one of those newfangled DLC parts?
No, I don’t believe so.
wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/T-12_Structural_Tube
@@CupcakesLanders That is indeed a Making History part.
Oh yeah, this is epic B)
Yes ok but in the start you shouldn’t be able to hear the sounds of the hyper loop car is the track is a vacuum
pay attention here. the hyperloop is on Duna, which has an atmosphere, which has air and so sound can travel through it.
@@nao_hito true, but the concept of a hyperloop is a magnetically levitated car in a vacuum tube. Duna might have an atmosphere but the tube doesn’t
Nice video! I would say the music is a bit boring and repetitive though
Is this Descent?
Just needs some bots!
it's kinda cumbia.
0/10 vjeo title doesn't end with an ellipsis
There, you happy?
you make some very nice stuff but your musical taste needs a lot of work
