This one little tip is so simple and yet it works perfectly every time. Watch how I use a super obvious 'in camera' setting to get rid of dust spots instantly.
You might not have seen Clarence Von Ponce for a while but you can be sure he's seen me. In fact, he's been paying a bit too much attention to my nearest and dearest. I'll teach him a lesson in more ways than he might expect.
A foggy day in Luneburg, Nova Scotia turns out to be the perfect backdrop for a magical moment of low energy landscape photography. Not only is the light delightful but we even manage to squeeze in some fun time on a merry-go-round. Amanda really should have let her dinner settle first.
We enjoy a misty morning at a quaint fishing village and when it comes time for blue hour, I'm having full blown fotogasms. It's not often that all my hopes come to fruition but when they, it's a joy to behold.
I love days when I can capture both super wide angle shots with the 14mm and also some highly compressed telephoto images with the 100-400mm.
Will my hefty girth break the teeter totter and does Amanda really have worms? Will I capture my blue hour shot before it gets too dark and how many dust spots can one sensor collect?
There's really only one way to find out.
    Hit play, then hit like.
    Thanks for watching

8:16 Sorry, cannot relate to that as an Olympus user. Ever since I started using the E-5 in 2010, I have NEVER had an issue with sensor dust on Olympus cameras, because dust is taken care of, the sensor shakes it off using its IBIS. It works incredibly well and it riddles me not everyone else has adopted this technology.

Another trick for dust is to use the in camera dust remover. It works on most (but not all) spots. Love the explanations of how you frame and what you're after. Nicely done!

Your videos are so entertaining and informative, I love them! I suggest everybody to watch a marathon of fototripper videos! I particularly found your final photo really unique and was blown away, not quite as blown away by Amanda's gigantuan intake of food though. I was looking forward to see how your photos were going to turn out of the houses and the boats during the day. I was concentrating on the Canadian flag to see if you were going to get it in focus and at the perfect moment. It wasn't surprising that those didn't quite make the showing with the vehicles and people in the far background continuously moving. Fantastic video Gavin!

So, the Sony sensor dust is still a problem. Even on your A1? You would think Sony would have figured out how to prevent that by now. Reading about this problem and seeing my favorite UA-camrs , yourself included, struggle with it are part of the reason I bought a Canon. I'm literally shocked that the dust problem still exists on their very super expensive mirrorless flagship.
