What a cool Pit Lane. I guess the window there is a reminesence of the Eiger Nordwand Train Tunnel. It has a stop at over 3000m above sea, where there is such a window to look outside of the Nordwand . Also the fact that there is a clock in the pitman tunnel ^^. And it say "View Point"
That pit lane is like a another dimension, for a small part of the track that takes just 10 seconds at full speed, its roughly 38 seconds at pit limited speed.
Never seen the spectater npc's walk around like they do here on Eiger Nordwand. Also lovely detail with the small bits of rubber on the tarmac around the hairpins as the final laps approaches.
I think the WRC Gr B single-player event for this track got it right as opposed to a run-of-the-mill Gr4/Gr3 setup. Enable suspension tuning & hard/medium compounds only, along with the proper tire wear/fuel multipliers & the race will cook
That last part shows us how much we need a new Burnout 3 Takedown or Burnout Revenge game (with closed tracks, not that open world thing they did in Burnout Paradise).
I dont often comment on youtube but i have to express my gratitude to what you do. Ive been watching you for years at this point, and thanks to you ive finally picked up GT7. Im racing on a controller but i was able to get top 6.0% on Eiger Nordwand time trial with the Subie. Ive always lived motorsports and Im planning to hone my skills in GT7. Thanks Steve. You've inspired me to do great things in GT
Surely gives me Zandvoort vibes. Corners looking/feeling like being on a rollercoaster, track not being the widest. Looking forward to have some good online races here!
I love how you combined the intro with last week’s stream. Excellent job, mate. One thing I don’t understand is why the Gr 4 pit stop took more than 40 secs (that’s less time than it takes the Dodge to turn), and the Gr 1 only 20ish. I remember that on the stream, in each race that followed, every pit stop was shorter and shorter. That race was absolutely ridiculous 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Would love to see Canadian tire Motorsport park (Mosport) such a great track and is perfectly suited for daily races. A nice old school fast track with lots of elevation changes and blind corners that rewards taking risks
I'm glad PD went for a leftfield track like this. I know that since GT Sport the emphasis has been on real world and F1 tracks, but the franchise was always about imagination too. Do miss the likes of El Capitain, Seattle but also the Mediterranean tracks, and (exception to my rule) that includes Cote d'Azur/Monaco, for being just awesome.
This could be very chaotic if there are LMP1, GROUP C and Vision GT cars racing together at Eiger Nordwand, especially if there is a 12-lap race in GT7.
I wish it was longer but I love the switchbacks and winding bridge. However, if you are going in the reverse direction it is too easy to just drive right into the pit on accident around that turn lol did it first race one the first lap in a race that was twelve laps lol. Needles to say, I was unable to catch up.
IMO you're on the gas a little bit too early (well before the apex) on both the left-hand exits from the double hairpins. Leave it a tich wider, keep dragging the front end in towards the apex to get it rotated, and most importantly rotate and accelerate towards the exit by staying off the gas while pointed in the wrong direction.
A race track on Kleine Scheidegg is so bizarre and ridiculous. With the pit lane looking like station Eismeer the whole thing gets even more hilarious.
I'm not a long time fan of Gran Turismo (since 2023) but I love this track! It's short and twisty and it feels good when you do a good lap. Quickly one of my favourites👍
I don't know if its me but with this recent GT7 update, GT7 hasn't been the same with trying to play it because It just freezes now when I try to get in a race or just customizing my cars.

I feel like Tokyo R246 is one of the easiest original circuits to bring back because it's literally in Polyphony's backyard
It's very complex, one of the hardests to model like all other city circuits
But Magarigawa Club circuit is truly in the back yard mountains in Chiba prefecture.
Cote d azure is also a great one that I can't wait for! It's gonna make F1 25 irrelevant, lol
