Just brought 8 of these home today. One little one has been darting off to the corner by himself, then chasing the others. I'm concerned, but think it might be part of the hierarchy you mentioned. Thanks for a good intro
@@AquaWorldInfo I got 3 yesterday from PetSmart and today all 3 were gasping for air water is normal other fish are fine and they died within 4 hours I go to PetSmart and all their are gasping for air and no refund so PetSmart sold me sick tetras that were fine yesterday
Stay away! I regret buying these a year ago. I really wanted to add guppies or some bright colored fish with the white skirt tetra but cant since mine were territorial and semi-aggressive with my mollies (none survived). Wish i hadn’t got them if this helps anyone. Hopefully this video can give me some ideas tho! Will keep u updated.
I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you faced with your White Skirt Tetras. They can indeed exhibit territorial behavior, especially if they're kept in smaller groups or in tanks lacking adequate hiding spaces. Adding bright-colored fish might sometimes trigger aggression among tetras. When considering tank mates, it's beneficial to choose fish with similar activity levels and temperament to ensure a harmonious tank environment. Providing ample hiding spots and creating territories within the tank might help mitigate aggression. Thanks for sharing your experience, and I hope you find suitable tank mates or solutions to create a peaceful and vibrant aquarium! Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or advice.
if this was my fish I would respond with a daily water change of about 10 gallons per day for the next 5-7 days. I would remove the infected fish and would not treat the tank with any medication. I'm not saying this is the correct course of action as I can't diagnose the problem. But I can tell you this is how I would respond with my level of experience. The goal, in my opinion, should be to prevent this from spreading.
Haha, sounds like you've got some hungry white skirt tetras on your hands! They can be quite voracious eaters. If you're trying to protect your guppy fry, consider providing some hiding spots or breeding traps to give the fry a better chance at survival. It's all part of the fishkeeping adventure!

How do you treat them for ich please ?😱😢
Just seperate the fish other quarantine aquarium and add aquarium salt. Daily water change for 7 days
If you raise the tank to 82° it will usually go away
