I remember when the entire island was blanketed by smoke from fireworks set off by residents upon the midnight hour. Numerous cases of breathing problems were reported and since then the use of fireworks began to diminish. But not for some of us. We need to be vigilant of such people for our safety and theirs.

Why is there no talk about criminal charges against those involved in this tragedy? The illegal aerials set off on this property resulted in death and many extreme burns. There's enough evidence here to prosecute beyond reasonable doubt. There should be civil actions filed on behalf of victims.
