Bonus tip for bubble kelp farming. If you go to the underwater cave to the right of Sea Zora Village (and to the right of the purple rift) theres a bunch of kelp at the entrance of the underwater cave, just break the kelp plants collect the kelp drops, then enter the cave and then immediately come out and the kelp plants respawn to break again. Then repeat the cycle, you collect kelp quicker than swimming around the area
If you use the crow automaton from Dampe, it steals far more rupees from enemies on hit, about 10-20+ per mob. Plus its a free summon, so you can have regular echoes helping murder the creatures you just robbed
I agree. This dude had a 100% run ready for release when he probably had the game for a week. There is no online guide he could've referenced. It's just him, the game and a notepad probably lol. Insane.
Austin, thank you so much. May I throw a suggestion? I'm sure everyone discovered this already. But I discovered to farm faster bubble kelps, go to the right side of that area you showed in lake hylia. There is a bigger area with grass, and a cave in the water you can keep entering to respawn the grass and kelps. I've gotten over 5k rupees now thanks to you :)
I was hesitant to do the mango rush (after getting the outfit). But being prepared for the Vibrant one was a walk in the park. I didn't even need the trampolines or any echoes, due to me using the Frog Ring. I appreciate your advice and this video you made! :D This was my setup: - Frog Ring - Gerudo Sandals - Spin Brace - Stone Anklet I also used the outfit you censored in the video (I won't spoil what outfit it is), but it makes harvesting mangoes feel extremely easy now. I also felt like the Stone Anklet and Spin Brace helped make the spins more effective, and the Frog Ring allows you to jump on the ledges without the need for echoes. I can farm this for hours with how quickly and efficiently I harvested 60 mangoes in one run!
Your guides are so great, lots of effort put in them whether that's number crunching or physical walking to locations in game rather than just showing where on the map I also love that I can watch some of your guides early game
For those who do not want to use amiibo, there is a waypoint north of Hyrule Castle Town. Loop around up the stars to your left and there should be a secret entrance with some Ghini inside. Take them all out, and you'll find the first room has a bunch of boxes. If you break them all, then take the door on the left and eliminate all those Ghini as well, you can go back and forth with these two rooms to break rocks and boxes for items like Rock Salt, Refreshing Grapes, Electro Apples, and Floral Nectar. The accessories you get from the Smoothie Shrubs will make them spawn more often. I just use Ignizol echoes to throw and light the boxes on fire, while Rock can be thrown at the respawning rocks to break them. 3 of these items will help with money-making. Enjoy!
Just became a member today, been loving the walkthrough and have been having a blast, thanks for all the amazing uploads and guides so fast after the realease of the game
Bit of a spoiler so burying the main text below... No mention in this video or comments of the survey scope accessory which increases smoothie ingredient drops. This helps mildly with farming from enemy elimination. I forget which chest or side quest I got it from though.
it just so happens to be the questline from the smoothie shop owner, when he asks you to discover new types of smoothies :D i forget how many he wanted for the first scope - 5 maybe? the upgraded scope is after discovering 20 unique recipes.
I haven't personally gotten into the while "naming smoothies" mechanic, yet, but I would just like to say that this was a wonderful video, and I feel like it will be a lot of help, at least for me. 😊 Thank you very much for taking the time!
If you want to optimize even more, You can use a platboom or any other large area echo to get the mangos even faster, I'm pretty sure you don't even need a higher jump to get the ones on the ledge or whatever but correct me if I'm wrong.
feel like this information is only needed for speedrunners. i was only short on rupees two or three times. but my top used echo was the crow. but still watching for supporting Austin and curious for future plays
Hi austin John I found a method how to heal fast in a bed I don’t know if it is already found out but il tell you: you start with placing a bed then lay in the bed heal one heart or a half (depends on the bed) then get out then go lay in the bed and wait till you heal a little bit again and then get out and then repeat. I hope this is helpful and thanks for all the walkthroughs
Regarding the Vibrant and Ultimate Mango Rush levels: while in the "Still Missing" quest dungeon (dodging spoilers for those who haven't gotten that far here), you can find the Frog Ring accessory in a chest. This allows you to jump higher to reach the ledge mangoes without trampolines.
if you're farming before Hryule castle you won't have it. and if you're farming after the castle, you already have it and you're doing the ultimate level :)
After built the crow automaton, rupees just wasnt a problem anymore to me. I think it is one of the most useful echoes of the game. Wish I knew it earlier hahaha.
I haven’t done the math but I felt like the time it took to cook and then sell the smoothies was slower then just selling mangos themselves. I could get ~1k rupees for 10 or 15 min of farming and selling mangos. Anyone else do this?
Agreed, Austin is the math guy and his method is still more rupees p/h but I just cbf sitting there making smoothies lol If you have the dancing outfit & froggie jump you can consistently clear the ultimate seeds run which is at worst 8 and at best 12. If you just did 1 run and immediately sold them, it’s 90 seconds. 10 rupees to play, 8 rupee per mango - 54~86 every 90 seconds. This obviously becomes more efficient the more runs you do in a row before selling. His method is more newbie friendly though as the ultimate seed does need those 2 items imo.
Maybe this is common knowledge, but when I first got into the Deku region I found a large grassy area and began to spin for rupees, then it occurred to me to try to harvest them with less effort and I thought of the SPIKED ROLLER. Sure enough, it will mow down the grass and I only had to walk behind it and pick up the rupees and hearts. Not an earth shattering discovery, but I thought it was kind of cool. I also found it will kill small enemies as it rolls along. Also it will break crates and rocks that it hits. I keep trying it in different situations and it has become one of my most used echoes!. It only rolls a short distance but I just keep pressing the Y button!
I was so close!!! Im litterally uploading my video on this right now lol! Edit, yours is so much better and now i want to scrap mine and start over! Glad to know i was on the same track as you with the mangos! I about cried when i saw how much we can make off it!
If you change the date on your system you can scan as many amiibo as you want over and over again. Make smoothies and sell them until you have as many rubies as you want
The crows way is my favorites way. Yep, I just travel with 2 or 3 crows all the time when ur rupees are low. Not only will they attack everything and squirt out 6 rupees at a time but sometimes even more than that. The more enemies on screen the more likely you'll get even more. Not only that but they'll even grab the rupees for you that you don't get. I got like 237 rupees in just a couple minutes doing it this way and was like wtf is this game broken or did I just fall into lucking out finding rhe best way to get rupees when Im low. 😂
Since the medium challenge gives you 8 mangos, I think using the increased spin move in that challenge is better than the ultimate one. The medium challenge is very easy to clear and is faster than the ultimate one, which only gives you two more as the best reward.
There is actually a way to get a golden rupee. You have to bind to a crow and take it to a small space and then you let him steal a lot of rupees (at least 300). Then you kill it and it gives you the golden rupee and some other rupees. (You can lose some rupees during the process) I have discovered it for myself. :)
I went from beginning to end with only one accessory slot and then I realized you could upgrade them and by then I already had enough rupees to max it out 😂
Not to rain on this parade but there is just not enough demand for rupees in the game to justify spending any amount of time farming. My honest guide on how to make rupees is beeline towards a smoothie shop, do the quest to unlock smoothie recipes. You might have to run around to a few biomes to get a variety of ingredients. Make 30 different smoothies. Have the reward equipped all the time and just sell ingredients that you don't use. Most smoothie combinations only give you like 1-6 rupees more than just selling the ingredients anyway. So unless you know exactly which combinations to make it's not worth the time spent making them vs just selling the ingredients. Apart from some up front time spent focusing the quest (that you probably would've done eventually) you just passively make rupees forever while you're playing no additional effort needed. I didn't even do exactly that in my play through, I had already explored a bit before I even discovered the quest, though that did mean I didn't have to hunt for ingredients at all. I've already bought everything there is and have 2,000 rupees left plus I have 100 grapes and apples right now in my inventory and I am not even done with the story yet. I just finished Faron and Eldin and need to do Lanayru.
You dont really ever have to farm. There are enough chests and pickups to allow you to fully buy whatever you want. Add on the charms that increase drop rates from enemies and grass then you never need to actually "farm" for them.
I do believe you can skip the farming for other ingredients. Its only like a 35 rupie profit but you can buy rocktato and bubble kelp for 25 (only 2 i believe are profitable). But you spend 115 i believe and make 150. Just something to make it a little quicker but you wont make as much.
Why would you sell golden egg smoothies? golden eggs on their own sell more than their smoothie, including if its a double golden egg smoothie (A single golden egg sells for 2x as much as 2 golden eggs??)
After making all smoothies (ALL 136, not all 69 unique ones), I have no use for rupees 😭 I have max accessories and max accessories slots with 3k extra rupees
i got the rubies accessory and been getting tons just playing game. i haves so much idk what to do now lolol don't need to farm for hours. money is ez to come by.
Best Farming ever: Sell Juices Literally I played this game. Well I sill playing. Until now, I didnt use them in the all the adventure. DAta: You can get more materials of Juice using amiibos.

Once I saw that smoothie cooking was a game element, I knew a rupee farming method would come from it 😂

2:50 No thank you Austin, all of you're guides are spot on. You work hard and people can tell! You earned it!
I agree. This dude had a 100% run ready for release when he probably had the game for a week. There is no online guide he could've referenced. It's just him, the game and a notepad probably lol. Insane.
Agreed. Hopefully the other 40% subscribe in the near future too!
Great Tip:
You can jump into pots to hide from enemies.

5:25 you dont need to use trampolines. you can just equip the frog ring if you have it to jump higher.
0:18 finding these little edit mistakes are our little easter eggs in austin's videos hehe
Loving this game. I’ve gotta say, I appreciate all the work you do getting videos like this out. Thanks, man.
Your guides are so great, lots of effort put in them whether that's number crunching or physical walking to locations in game rather than just showing where on the map
I also love that I can watch some of your guides early game
Do the smoothie recipie quest. Both of them. Makes farming much easier.

Egg smoothies sell for 75 rupees...while the eggs alone sell for 150.

Really love all your videos! Big props for helping us!
just a heads up cause this can be spoilers for some
there is an accessory that can let you jump the ledge! so this becomes 10x easier!
I haven't personally gotten into the while "naming smoothies" mechanic, yet, but I would just like to say that this was a wonderful video, and I feel like it will be a lot of help, at least for me. 😊 Thank you very much for taking the time!
We need more end of video blooper and/or funny clips hahaha 😂
Was waiting for this guide.
Love the guides I’ve been watching since BOTW days and followed you since. Keep up with the good work 😊 it’s much appreciated
The final automaton is a great way to farm rupees casually. I just wish I didn't wait until end game to do Dampé's quests 🤣
one of my favorite Bits with your videos are the future austin cutaways. I don't know why they make me giggle I just love it.
NBC out there somewhere commenting about how you spoiled rupees being in this game.
If you want to optimize even more, You can use a platboom or any other large area echo to get the mangos even faster, I'm pretty sure you don't even need a higher jump to get the ones on the ledge or whatever but correct me if I'm wrong.
Austin always stepping up to make our virtual lives smoother.
Just look at this MANgo!
Man goes to mangoes so man can goes and buy stuff.
go, man, go!
Most websites don't have this item but there is ice spiked shoes in the game that stops you from sliding it's very useful for the ice temple
feel like this information is only needed for speedrunners. i was only short on rupees two or three times. but my top used echo was the crow. but still watching for supporting Austin and curious for future plays
All this smoothie talk is making me want a smoothie.
Thank you so much! Spent three hours just walking around trying to make rubies. Spent half an hour doing this and made more!
dam bruh 16 seconds from release to watch this
I want to take a moment to thank you Austin John for always providing helpful guides.

AUSTIN JOHN IS THE GOAT ❤
Cheers Austin! 🎉
You are a Legend of the Legend of Zelda walkthrough
Mangoes! Mango smoothies for the Rupees!
Your tutorials are amazing!! Have ever thought about writing a guide book??? Cause I definitely would purchase 1.. love you videos!!
Thanks Austin you always go above and beyond with the guides thanks for always helping out 🙏🏼✨
Great, yesterday I thought "I'm gonna be a smoothie merchant/artisan"! Now I know how to become max rich fast lol. Thank you, Austin John.
For mangos, you can just use the giant spike roller to take them all out at once.
I love you austin John best guides on the platform

the bird automaton, which isn't easy to get early game. Makes even more rupees appear on first attack.
Thanks for this, I made 600 rupees in 5 minutes and I’m sure I could have gone way faster, such a great method
Yes!! Rupee farming let's goo!!!!!
I'll take... 5 smoothies and then 5 more smoothies
After built the crow automaton, rupees just wasnt a problem anymore to me. I think it is one of the most useful echoes of the game. Wish I knew it earlier hahaha.

Yeah crows are broken
Rick and two crows
And then you get the gold robot crow that drops EVEN MORE
Have you ever thought about how chunky the smoothies are without a blender? And how warm they are without ice?

The moolah mango
I'm just a humble mango farmer.😂
Where do you find warm peppers in echoes of wisdom
you can get 2 golden eggs from some amiibo drops, so if you get really lucky you can get tons of rupees like that
making and selling shakes also gives good rupees.
Anyone notice that Zelda drips with sweat and then fans herself 😂
Your welcome I am happy to be a subscriber
Genius mate
My flock of crows banks me money's quick like
Great guide! The only thing is, I have been trying to farm the seaweed and .. nothing. Rupees are dropping but no ingredients.
You don't have to censor the outfit, you can just wear the regular link disguise
THANK YOU

Please repeat, in simpler terms. You trap the crow...how? And how does it get rupees?
I went from beginning to end with only one accessory slot and then I realized you could upgrade them and by then I already had enough rupees to max it out 😂
i like the special crow that drops like 50 rupees on the first strike
yea, but that's after hyrule castle and Eldin at the very least
Nice little tip. 99 mangos is max mangos you can have..😁
Using the golden egg to sell a ₹75 mango smoothie versus just selling the golden egg for ₹150 doesn't math
The math isn’t mathing 😂

Oli had an egg from an amiibo. I sold this one egg for 150rupees to get my sand sandles.

EQUIPE Silver and Gold Brooch with the help of Crows FTW.
Austin is their a cap for the number of items
Thanks!
Question: Can you make multiple Smoothies at once, or just one at a time?
Only one at a time
What happened to walkthrough part 6 I don’t see it anymore
there’s a 4th option but i ain’t gonna spoil it. when you find it you’ll love it
Any other way to use this?
I allready maxed the fairy
Good farm.
After making all smoothies (ALL 136, not all 69 unique ones), I have no use for rupees 😭 I have max accessories and max accessories slots with 3k extra rupees
My Mango is to blow up! 🥭 💥 (Blowing up Zelda’s Rupee Account!)
Mangos
i got the rubies accessory and been getting tons just playing game. i haves so much idk what to do now lolol don't need to farm for hours. money is ez to come by.
So I can litterly just cook 2 mangos? Or do I cook 1 mango with 1 other thing?😊
Where is this on the map though
Best Farming ever:
Sell Juices

Wait, but dosnt it cost rupees to MAKE smoothies?
10 Rupees, I believe.
