this was my favorite moment of the season. i want to know what instructions the director gave to the Victor actor, "just look longing and pining for ten minutes", and how long it took for him to nail that look.
Absolutely agree. Michael's acting talent here is truly astounding. The subtitles...his eyes, his face, but also his breathing. Has to be one of the best falling in love moments captured on TV...or even in movies. This young man is going places.
I don't think he/they needed to rehearse for this scene. When you watch them together when they are George and Michael, you can tell, that they have amazing chemistry.
Victor's puppy love phase was so adorable, I wish we get to see Michael Cimino in more roles like this lol

Words can't describe how much this scene affected me. I was suddenly Victor and Benji was the cute guy i once had a crush on in college - singing to me and only me. The shot of Victor all by himself in the soft spotlight is EXACTLY how that feels.
